I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

This dude

Clearly has an affinity for attracting the most achingly scrumptious ladies. Dunno how well he'd acquit himself in the action sequences though
Notice how quickly they get away from him at the end

I reckon sometimes you're just screwed from the get go

But if he pretended to be a millionaire, with a camera crew following him around...

"I remember from decades ago how a woman who just wanted to be a housewife was lambasted by a group of feminists about wanting to 'sit at home and take care of the kids' was not what they (the feminists) had fought for"
In '93, it wasn't a capital offense for gals themselves to provide fellas with counsel such as 32:40-35:00

Today, that'd get a reception similar to the lyrics for Good For You, perhaps even induce screeches of "They're infected with Internalized Misogyny, which is leading them to instill in this guy the ideals of Rape Culture"
