I think there are many normie men (not necessarily soy boys) that don't wish to be alone on Valentine's Day. Having a dating option on Valentine's Day does show a certain level of desirability as a man. A date on Valentine's Day and having someone to kiss on New Year's Eve at midnight are two of the bigger tests that show how desirable you are. Alphas and sigmas are less likely to care about those days than the typical normie beta male but also more likely to be involved with at least one woman when those days arrive.

Cuffing season exists for people (mainly women) to bring someone home to their families for Thanksgiving and Christmas events.
