First real life approach after a long long time

This evening I went to an outdoor bar with a friend with no intention of doing business. Just a few beers and a chat.

But at one point a flower seller passed us and said: "How about taking a flower to your girlfriends"?

I replied, well, I don't have a girlfriend.

He then said: pick one here in the environment and I'll tell her you sent it to her. If she accepts, you pay for the flower.

I said: well, **** it, while I indicated to him which girl it was.

The girl accepted the flower, I went to her and talked briefly. She was in a group of friends (between 5 and 7). My wingman told me she was easily the most beautiful in the bar. Easy a 10/10. She asked my name, and I asked hers. I commented about her hand that was injured and went back to my table.

On the way back, before leaving the bar, I asked for her number. She then told me that she was dating one of the girls at the table. I didn't believe her, but said they made a beautiful couple and left.

Just a description of a real-life approach I hadn't made in a long time. Far from ideal, but good for de-stressing. I thought it would be interesting to share here.

So, you approached a chick only after you paid for her flowers, and then found out she is in a relationship after you paid for those flowers.

Then she got up and left...after you paid for her flowers.

Buying flowers is rarely if ever a good idea, especially from a flower hustler, and especially for some random thot you haven't met. Even if you are rich and good looking and charming the mere act of buying flowers from a flower hustler would otherwise make any women dry up since it signals you're an NPC-simp. Sorry to offend.

You used the word simp there and that was the first word I thought of when reading the original post.

There are few occasions where buying flowers make sense and all of them occur within some sort of longer term relationship.

Thank god I am a conservative guy about my money. It was only a single rose. About $2.
