I did not have such a good experience. She was driving after the date and we were going back to my place. She had the Latin music going on full volume in the car, and was a super ***** about it. We came to the last intersection before my apartment complex, and I tell her “go straight”. She proceeds to take a right turn right onto the highway. So it takes us five minutes to get back to the apartment. And she talked about clothing and nails without my prompting. Insufferable.

Colombia is way safer than it used to be when the cartels were around, but all of Latin America is dangerous when it comes to this type of thing. And there are no countries that are 100% safe.

If you look/act/sound like a foreigner in these countries, you paint a huge target on your back and you have to remain vigilant at all times, if not even paranoid.

Never ever do what this guy did, especially if you're asian.
