I'm in SF for business and convinced myself to go out last night.
Hit up a public karaoke place and I was the only person there at 8PM
Bartender was a small Asian gal, got my drinks and put it down to talk to the bouncers outside.
Stayed there for about 2 hours, made buddies with the DJ and requested he do Whatever You Like. Was pretty cool even though he sucked.
The bartender was giving me some glances so I chatted her up as I was closing out my tab. Asked her out and she said if only she were single.
Easy rejection to swallow

Might set up a quick Tinder profile for tonight

Forget about the outcome, focus on your actions and mindset. Trust the result will follow if you focus on the former.

But do feel proud of yourself for trying, it has become redundant and a cliche to say but the opposite is not making the shots and missing 100% of them.

I was just discussing with the Football aka soccer team I play with competitively, but if you forget about the score your performance will focus on simply enjoying yourself and being able to focus fully on your performance.

Keep us updated about tonight but remember, do not approach this with an agenda or you will put a lot of pressure on yourself which will ultimately bite you back in the a**.

Has anyone done Tinder on work trips they like to share advice on? I’m completely lost. Do you just pretend that you’ll be moving to the area or just be straightforward?
