Fox News' Tucker Carlson thinks men should tan their testicles using infrared light to boost testosterone levels.
He didn't say anything remotely like that, at least in that clip.

All he said was something long the lines of: "T has been going down, why not look for solutions?"

just b4 that, he said Testicle tanning? then he rolled into why not look for solutions?

He implied that he's open to at least looking into it.

I remember as a kid watching Rocky IV's training montage... I used to wonder why the fbck was Drago training in red light....

Then as an adult i learned that infrared light has performance advantages...

Derrick and Vigorous Steve did a segment on icing the testicles for increased testosterone.

I've actually tried it and it's not nearly as painful as it might sound. You actually get used to it in about 5 minutes. But it's too much of a hassle to do long term.

Life Goal: secluded backyard with large privacy fence and deck/ hot tub/ pool combo.

It sounds like the perfect place to sun my balls and bang chicks.

I have used the red light at PF and also the open window in a top floor apartment. Nothing noticeable other than wasted time.

There is some preliminary evidence that certain types of light directly on the testes can trigger FSH, LH, and Test production (among other hormones).

However it's already well known that sunlight and Vitamin D increases testosterone so this isn't exactly a stretch anyway.

I love how people just dismiss any idea outside of the mainsteam cult of "scientism" without even bothering to research it. Just because something doesn't have the stamp of approval by a Cochrane review or consensus by "experts" doesn't mean it's wrong.

Besides, what do you have to lose? Mens T levels are in fact plumetting and too many guys take a passive attitude about it. Why not assume that plastics, light exposure, diet, sleep, exercise, etc all matter?

I agree with what you say. However, Diet is the root cause of most of the f*ckedupness our bodies find themselves in. It's the simplest thing to do - eat healthy. But it's never mentioned in the mainstream, because there's no money in teaching people how to eat cleaner.

There is little consensus on what healthy eating is so that isn't great advice imo. Although its assumed if a person really cares about their health, they'll learn what healthy foods are.

Your post is the perfect example of twisting facts and manipulation of information.
Tucker Carlson didn't say one single word of that, his guest did. Tucker merely interviewed him as his job is as a journalistic reporter should do.
I've noticed the same criticisms towards Joe Rogans podcast. Joe interviews real, credible figures and gives them a platform then people denounce him for spreading misinformation. Joe Rogan never told anyone to take Ivermectin for instance, his guests, who were highly credentialed specialists, said so.

Exactly.
Joe Rogan only interview them, listen and let free speech rule like any journalist should.. That's all.

All the bro scientists out there don't want people eating healthy. They just want people to spend $300 per month on supplements and powders. Along with, now, paying money to have their n*ts sunburned.

I always noticed that back before Drudge went left.

Before, people would always slam Drudge. But all he ever did was link to other articles on other news sources.

He never wrote anything. Only dug for interesting articles and reposted.

People are just idiots. Doctors don't know a damn thing about nutrition, whereas nutrition "experts" only know what they were taught in school, which is often completely wrong.

People get too attached to their eating choices and to suggest they are eating wrong is an affront to them. It's mostly ego based and emotional.

These tactics of "do xyz to raise testosterone levels" are out of hand. What people don't realize is that there is negligible effects noticed if one raises their test levels and still within physiological range. If one is say at 520 Test, raising it to 800 will not have any noticeable effects. The only way one would notice a change within physiological range is if they're already low and feeling the effects of it. So someone at say 240 raises it to 600 will notice a difference, but it's not like they'd be at such a drastic change that it'd be like they're cycling.

If your T levels are only 520 why would you not want to try to raise it to 800 if you can without dishing out the $ for TRT? I don't get this attitude.

I'm just saying don't expect to notice any difference by doing it. You won't be putting on muscle like a Mr. Universe. You won't be training like an Olympic athlete.
