Like for most people, life during the pandemic was challenging for me. A girl I like asked me how I was doing. My impulse was to be positive, strong, and manly, so I told her I was doing great. But if I was more honest I'd have said "Things have been tough."

Right answer or wrong?

There is no right or wrong answer to that lol answer it however you want.

Me personally, I don't like complaining and I don't randomly disclose personal info to people so I would say "I'm straight"

What's wrong is that you're scared to even answer a simple question. You're lucky she didn't eat your brains.

Aren't you the old very well off guy that wants a 20-year old, and you can take care of her for the rest of her life? And would prefer high end escorts instead of the hastle of dating? Oh and 10.000 thousand plus high end match making companys? What tough times are you talking about might I ask? Absolutely no disrespect.

The escorts put their prices up.

"Things have been tough."
Things have been rough for everyone over the last couple of two years, not just for you; so who fvcking cares?

How to answer the question "How are you?"
Well I'm off to the gym [insert yours here] soon and I hope you doing great too?
(Sort of little mind game in reversing the question back to her and displaying that I'm busy eg. do not have too much time for her)

Ha ha, that's actually that's not too far from the truth. I've thought about the escort thing and realized that an escort-type girl is going to see me as basically just a meal ticket. Call me old-fashioned but I'd rather win her over with my charm and good looks, LOL.

Can you give more detail on the conversation? Was it in person? Text message? Phone call? More background on the lead up to the question?

Women don't give a F. Lok at divorce during the pandemic. When things get bad modern women monkey branch by and means necessary. That includes pulling the pin on the divorce grenade regardless of the trauma it does on the children.

You stfu. You grow a pair of nuts. You man up. Go find a friend or find god. Telling women your problems ie be vulnerable is the mating call of the loser. You are asking to get dunked on.
