So, as opposed to Shanghai or Beijing, where people are much more used to seeing white people, these tourists might never have seen a real "laowai" (chinese slang for foreigners, especially western white ones) before, so when they see one, of course they'd act all curious like you have witnessed in this video.

These people, therefore, are always considered and perceived as not having a high education level and income, given the way they act around white foreigners. Well you do raise a good point, we could also argue that these "men" also ruined western women with their constant simping.
