Low T men can't compete with the women academically anymore, so they quit. They don't have the drive, the work ethic, or the motivation. Most of these guys will end up working for college educated females.

I wouldn’t say it’s Low T, think it’s that they don’t see the value in it. Four years of your life to get degree and put yourself $100,000 in debt to get a decent paying job. Not sure if it’s worth it.

Another reason women outnumber men in college in record numbers is the sexual market is deregulated and feminism and sexual liberation has given women control over their reproductive Heath and sexual expression. When women lose their virginity at 14-15, sleep with alphas in their 20s, the average man doesn’t see the point of higher education.

Before, when woman HAD to be virgins and didn’t have access to society’s resources, a man would see the benefit of a degree and higher paying job, he would get the resources for sex with a virgin wife. Now? Dont even think about it.

Not saying college is a bad thing, but if I could do it again, I wouldn’t do the same thing.

Only in certain degrees do women outnumber men, like nursing and Arts. If you go into engineering or IT, it is a sausage fest like no other. Most other degrees have a balance with some having slightly more women.

Before, all you needed was a factory job and you could afford a good home with a car and support your children with an early retirement at 50.

Good luck even attempting that today.

Even a doctor who spends 7-14 years studying is not going to earn that much, especially when starting off. They will get up to 200k sure but think of the debt they have and all those years wasted studying.

Someone else who owns their own business would be making way more.

Work smarter not harder

Education has become a bit feminized so it is no wonder that many men feel a bit lost in education. Schooling has catered more towards females for decades. This is a problem for both K-12 and college/universities.

The U.S. has been sending too many people to college. We need to emphasize the trade school path a little bit more. Plenty of the trades need people. If men are going into the trades instead of getting a university degree, that's not a bad thing. What's bad is when men drop out completely and became porn, mbate, and video game addicts with no discernable skills to contribute to the economy. Even women benefit from some trade occupations, such as dental hygienist or medical assistant work. Both dental hygienists and medical assistants make better girlfriends for a man that some Marketing or HR professional, who are often carousel riders.

A lot of the worthless bachelor's degrees are held by women. If a woman gets a worthless bachelor's degree, it's not a problem. If she's good looking enough, a horny beta male hiring manager will get her employed. Even some women get hired by "You Go Girl!" feminist hiring managers. If that doesn't work, there's always Instagram, TikTok, or OnlyFans for making money. It's more difficult for a man to get hired now in white collar jobs, especially a white male. If a man holds a worthless bachelor's degree, he'd better hope he has some sort of charisma to get hired by a female manager (if she perceives him as a top guy) or has enough substance to impress a male hiring manager.

Sounds like the millennial argument. College (and everything else) is too expensive, and jobs don't pay enough, so I'm just going to sit in the basement and play video games. College isn't the only route to success by any means, but not everyone is cut out for the entrepreneurial route, or whatever. The guys that are left over are going to be working under the female who toughed it out and got the Bachelors Degree, or Masters, or whatever.

A lot of Millennials did go to college, got either the bachelor's or master's, and didn't get a great job as a result. They're often saddled with student debt and/or not turning a positive return on investment on their higher education.

I'm an early Millennial and graduated in the 2008 recession. That was brutal.

Don't assume everyone who doesn't go with society's flow and do what is "expected" of them are Low-T. They can compete just fine. But why bother? Who wants to put up with 16+ years of having feminism shoved in your face, being told you are a rapist, misogynist, your evil, and "broken". Degrees in many cases are focused on women, women are given a free ride. For women higher education is "Wonderland" while for men it is a "Dungeon". Then even if the guy makes it to the end they have a school loan debt they will be paying on till they are 50yo,...especially if they are "white" where nothing is given for free to them like it is to all the others.

There is a reason men/boys are so screwed up today,...and they didn't do it to themselves.

Sure, times are hard. But I have a hard time feeling sorry for someone when they're not even out there swinging the bat. I failed several times before I finally found something I could be successful at. Nobody gets a guarantee, but if you want to be successful you need to make that happen.

The story is behind a paywall, anyone subscribe to the WSJ? lol

There are pros and cons here.

Cons: college is now openly a communist dictatorship pushing every evil, satanic agenda: masks, needles, invisible bugs, feminism, racial equality, "climate change" and every manner of stupid lie imaginable or not.

Colleges and all schools are now openly operating as prisons, including quarantining, tracking and tracing and depersonalization.

Pros: now, if you are dumb enough to actually fall $100K to $250K in debt to be brainwashed and humiliated, at least the male to female ratios are very favorable! Usually 3F to every 2M.

I get frustrated with them too. I'm probably enemy #1 on Reddit when I go after them on that. But it is circular. They are swinging the bat,...but holding it on the wrong end because they don't know what they are doing. It is circular in that they were created by our society (feminism predominantly) but then once they are created they end up helping to perpetuate it. Someone needs to break the circle, and it has to be the men that "end it", no one is going to come save them. But I am still careful about blaming them for starting it.

I’m an X-er, but I certainly see the huge increase in college costs that Millennials and now Zoomers face. I did undergrad in the mid 90s (as a commuter) for $9,800 per year. Obviously that’s a steal at today’s prices.

I definitely wouldn't blame them for starting it. But as you say, someone has to break the cycle. I don't think the kids can do it, because everything they know is wrong. Public schools and the culture have failed them.

Cost/benefit
Cost/opportunity
Rate of return

This comes even before any psychological or personal motivation.

Right a multi thousand debt is not worth the benefit most college degrees can provide.

We also learned from the recent crysis that carpenters and electricians are always needed....social scientists not so much.

It's so difficult to find a good male-female ratio outside of a college campus anymore. Fitness classes at boutique studios and gyms are the only alternative option.

The cons outweigh the pros for sure.

I got a bachelor's and master's during the 2000s. Thinking about my educational experiences and my career to this point, I think trade school is a better option. White collar work obtained as a result of a bachelor's and/or master's degree has a lot of drawbacks.

Yes, that is a steal. My college costs in the 2000s look decent now but seemed high in those days.

General advice to "go into the trades" isn't much better than general advice to "go to college." The trades are not for everyone and are probably for less people than college is. For those that have the aptitude remember to SAVE YOUR MONEY! Your body does not last as long as you think it does. The culture you will see on job sites is not one that breeds sound financial decisions so you have to stand on your own sometimes.

Edit: I was in building maintenance for years and saw a little bit of it all. Older men in my position were not in a good position. I used it to my advantage though, lived rent free while working and going to nursing school.

I would say the best option if someone is made for that is a high skilled position in a STEM field for the simple fact that few people is really able to perform in such field and no one without the necessary skill can deliver even if pretty/good looking or sponsored.

Also the HR department is such businesses surely cannot afford to annoy a high skilled professional that could find an other job in a blink of an eye.

Being wealthy wont necessarily get you laid with young chicks and wont get you validated but it will make you sure and safe economically.
