In context Finn is my German Shepherd. I've recently have had to move across the country due to break up that I went though a few weeks ago.

I'm currently living with my sister , crashing at hers until I get my own house back. My sister is away for the weekend so I was just trying to invite this girl back that I've talked to a few times via text .

Met her on online dating site. It's the first woman I've persued since the break up. She would have to drive an hour to me. Not really into going on dates, I think that's what she wants. Don't know how to play it now, I thought she would say "yes" . She seems pretty cool.

Been out the game a LONG time. Only a couple of weeks out from a break up, so just want to mess about. When I was last single I've had women literally catch flights to hook up/ meet me for the first time. Seems a bit rusty.

That makes sense logistically. The thing is though that I'm a while away from getting my house back.

I have tenents that I need to look after. I can't make a family homeless. Basically I'm giving them time to find a new house before they have to leave.

Plus I could do with hooking up now. It just feels like grieving is over and I need to rip off the band aid.

Oh man just be honest with some broad and shack up with her for a month lol whenever I had my place rented out I would just approach my exes sister who is a fiend for coc, she had lots of units, would give me a discount if she could show up and bang me randomly, many times there was a dude waiting in her range rover outside lmao.

Yeah in the type of guy I make enough money to just kind of live on the fly, I have a family that sporadically rents my house out, I need to do the roof before I can consider selling so I just put income towards that... Or that was the plan until the housing market caught fire, hasn't showed signs of slowing down yet.

Just be honest with your situation.

Yeah man. I've already been completely upfront and transparent. I'm not into faking stuff.

I don't think it's nessesary to lie. It's hard to explain but I'm not seeing myself as someone who has lost everything, I'm sort of just seeing myself as rising from the ashes. You know like I'm rising to my former glory.

I don't know but it's sort of infectious and negates the fact I'm starting from the beginning.
