If they want to trash their brand to appeal to people that were never their customer base that's up to them. I doubt it will do them any favours.

They're giving a misrepresented people an avenue to showcase as a model who probably has had it really hard in the industry.. and you little whiny emotional men have a problem?

The problem is you lack understanding. There's a whole group of people out there who were born one way and felt the other way their whole life.. Most likely due to hormonal imbalances or whatever it may be.. and these people have it hard.. they have a high suicide rate, get involved with drugs and prostitution just to cope with not being accepted.

Least we can do as a people is accept them.. I mean we already f-ed black peolpe over, native americans, and so many others, bombed the hell out of many Arabs, scarred the life of Vietnamese and Koreans forever, made it really hard for gay people (infact, im from Brooklyn and i remember in the 90s, people used to beat them with baseball bats), etc

A lot of you people are whats wrong with the world sadly, and its not your fault. You probably never even had a transgender friend or met one. Infact, some of you don't even have many real friends.

I'm not unsympathetic to the idea that these people have had it hard. But I don't like the idea of pushing this sort of thing as being completely normal and a legitimate choice, even something to be admired, in our society. I certainly don't think such people should be beaten up and abused, but I don't think it should be promoted as a lifestyle, which is what we see happening. I don't think it's healthy for the culture.

We see children who are too young to have reached puberty being raised as the opposite to their biological gender - either on a whim of their parents or because some remark or behavior made them think they have chosen to be another gender. This forum talks about how it is in our own self interest to adapt manly behaviors to unlock our masculine potential, and these children are being severely handicapped because of this - sorry, somewhat crazy - idea that we can pick our own gender. A lot of us came to this forum because of problems caused by not fully embracing our masculinity. How much worse is that going to be for guys who were raised as females?

We're told that we should all be able to identify as whatever gender we want, and society must then treat us as that gender. So theoretically any guy could go into a women's restroom under the guise of saying he identifies as a woman. It's madness on some levels.
