Made out at her apartment without even going on a date, but not sure where we stand now.

tl;dr: We had a date, made out before even going out, we complimented each other on being good kissers, things were going well, but I'm not sure they still are. Do I give it S&D? BTW, in the below text message, she had left it up to me in the texts above my snip of the conversation, as to whether we met up later that day again or not. So again, we were supposed to go to the bar, almost cancelled, ran into her by her apartment on the street, we made out at her place, I suggested that if we meet up later that we meet up at her place instead of the bar if she has some wine. She said she did have some wine. But she had a lot of stuff going on. Surgery the next day (major one at that), resigned from her job, etc.

This is a DIFFERENT girl at work than the one I’ve had other threads about having issues with. This new girl at work and I had a date setup and she had to stay late the day of our date and I could only meet for a brief window for an hour that day as I had other stuff going on after that. So she rescheduled without prodding. Then next time she also tried to reschedule, but decided to keep the date when I told her other times didn’t work for me or something like that.


Oddly enough, I was out for a walk after lunch later that day and I ran into her driving down the street. She pulled over and talked to me. She said she lived right in those apartments a few yards away and that she was stopping by to let her dogs out for a bit. I invited myself over, told her it was OK, I wouldn’t steal anything…at least much, haha.

So we go up. I stand outside, told her I would wait there. She invites me in after about a minute of standing there talking to me in the door way while playing with her dogs for a bit. So we’re now inside, talking, etc. She is late for a meeting and yet she keeps talking to me instead. I read between the lines, and kissed her. First a peck on the lips, then later when we were leaving (my suggestion, ending the interaction on a high note instead of pushing too far, I now think that was a mistake, maybe I should have taken it further) I grab her and french kiss her for a bit. I end that interaction first again and she was disappointed, so I told her I would give her more later and she was excited.

When we got back to the office we talked about just going to her place for some wine if she had any instead of going to the bar, and she was like I do have some wine, etc. We ended up cancelling the date later that afternoon as it was her last day on the job and was having a major surgery the next day that she had to get ready for (which everyone in the office knew about). Our last text exchange THAT day was me telling her she is a good kisser and she said I was too. I’ll attach a pic below.



I wasn’t worried about the date for that day being cancelled considering we just made out which was basically skipping a step past the date. So I text her a few days after her surgery to see how she’s doing, set up a meet up. She was like, next week might not work as she had an interview at a major company she had to get ready for (that she had told me about before we made out). So I told her no worries, she can make it up to me later, haha. That was the last text. I’ve been silent since then as has she (which is normal for us).



I don’t think she is blowing me off, just legit busy. Otherwise I could have read the previous reschedules as blow offs, yet I made out with her at her apartment after I ran into her by chance.


So at this point I take it it’s silence and distance until SHE re-engages me?

Right but like I said, we don't work together anymore, she resigned the day of. So we are no longer co-workers. But yeah, I really should stop messing around at work. So hard to resist though.
