Macron is 40.

Wife is 65. And Macron needs his wife around as she is "essential".

Everything makes complete sense now.

They went to the wrong country then. US pays the best…
There is also good immigration.
But i feel like lately all we get in Canada anyway(prob similar in the US) is non educated Middle East people that cant even function properly and integrate in our sociability.
They are creating sub-culture and just interact with each other, this is not good., and lots of those are on wealth-fare

Yes, they don’t assimilate with the existing country’s culture and have few personal skills.
Can you spell Freeloaders?

Seriously?
That could explain the bad decisions
Seriously yes.

Last I heard from a french colleague that he's been trying to get his grandma wife an official role within his administration.

Goes to show who is actually making the decisions.

The French r fvcked.

Feminisation of society produces idiots.

That includes jobless bums who idles away his productive time by taking up state resources such as welfare to survive.

Its like there is no limit to the feminisation, people want to over compensate for the wrong of the past.

However i wonder why there still a **** load of idiots of middle eastern origins they represent the only culture left resisting the feminisation.

Good question. As I understand it the middle easterners are the only culture that think they know a womans place. Behind a man. Some over do it with frmale mutilations and face hiding, but it’s completely different than western societies …

Trickle down economics was discredited 30 years ago. What we are seeing now is globalisation I basically slave labour and automation being used to increase returns to capital and decrease returns to labour

In every industrial revolution people has been saying the same.

The very people that has not adapted.

We r now in the 4th industrial revolution and before long we'll be in the 5th.

Gear up or be left behind.

Spaz your getting a bit full of yourself. Shouting slogans is no substitute for reasoned discourse.

From that leftest anarchist org the OECD

1. In most OECD countries, the gap between rich and poor is at its highest level since 30 years.

Today, the richest 10 per cent of the population in the OECD area earn 9.5 times the income of the poorest
10 per cent; in the 1980s this ratio stood at 7:1 and has been rising continuously ever since.

And what happened in the 80s what a coincidence governments and the developed world sold off public infrastructure for kickbacks and adopted trickle down economic policies

I'm not a leftist but I do recognise truth whether or not it is convenient for a particular ideology.

And anyone who was following the DJ game plan is already gearing up so that advice is a bit redundant

It's not an ideology but facts. We are now at the 4th industrial revolution, those that has not adapted is left out as in all previous industrial revolution.

DJ's gearing up ? Take a good look at the threads, does it suggest that many has adapted to the challenges that Tinder or any social media has brought on.

And that's just abt getting a woman. Even with the basics men are struggling.

The world doesn't care if anyone has not adapted, it will continue spinning regardless.

The only redundancy here is not knowing the phases the world is going through and it gets worst when it's ignored.

What you don’t realize is that was capitalism in motion. The cities they located in will get back a much larger return on the $$$ they put out for the initial attraction factor…
That isn't capitalism. Like you said earlier, it's taking money out of people's wallets to pay for a government agenda. I'm not saying it's right or wrong, but corporate tax cuts and giveaways are socialist, not capitalist. Redistribution. But then again, all governments do is redistribute - they do not produce. Just because the city might get a ROI doesn't make it any less so. The ROI for gov't is simply more tax revenue. Amazon was going to pick a city regardless. And the government is investing other people's money so it's always playing with house money. That's not the same as you taking your hard earned dollar and buying a piece of stock.

The problem is that people don't want to hold competing thoughts about government. It's either "capitalist" or "socialist" in policy. Once you accept that every government takes and redistributes, and that capitalism only exists in the free market, then you can accept that two different ideas can both be true. Tax breaks to Amazon can be socialist but still be good for a local economy. So much of the noise and anger in politics is only about HOW (and how much) your government spends your money.

He did not eliminate taxes on the wealthiest people as far as I can tell.

Can you provide a source for this please?

Macron is right wing, not left. Maybe everyone in France is leftist by US standards, but they consider him a right winger.

(Damn link is subscription only)

France has slashed its contentious wealth tax and introduced a flat rate on capital gains as president Emmanuel Macron used his first budget to unleash business-friendly policies aimed at attracting investors and revitalising the eurozone’s second-largest economy.

The French parliament on Tuesday adopted a package of measures for 2018 that included scrapping the wealth levy on everything except property assets — in effect cutting the tax by 70 per cent. A 30 per cent flat tax rate will also be introduced on capital gains, dividends and interests — a longstanding demand from investors and entrepreneurs.

The thing you have to admire about the French is they don't just bend over and take it. When I say the DJ plan I mean what the site is meant to be about; in self Improvement not whinging. Course there is no cover charge so we get all sorts.

So the nature of the the prevalent worldview is an individualstic bootstrap Republican type ideology. Which is fine but if you take it to extremes you end up at lord of the flies.

What this thread is pointing enough is that the French actually take collective action to push back against macro forces that threaten their way of life.

You have to wonder with all the technology we can't have citizen referenda with say a 60% threshold
