"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Is an actress "raped" if the director improvises a sex scene (but no actual penile contact)?

Evidently, the actress in "Last Tango in Paris" felt victimized because the director had improvised the sex scene into anal rape - and a movie critic made a little joke about it when commenting about the recent death of the director:

NPR’s “Fresh Air” program has ended its association with David Edelstein following the film critic’s controversial joke about the “Last Tango in Paris” rape scene in the wake of director Bernardo Bertolucci’s death.

In a Facebook post, Edelstein posted an image of the rape scene with the caption, “Even grief is better with butter,” referencing Marlon Brando’s character use of butter as a lubricant. Many, including actress Martha Plimpton, demanded that Edelstein be fired.

“All day I’ve avoided noting [Bertolucci’s] death precisely because of this moment in which a sexual assault of an actress was intentionally captured on film. And this a–hole makes it into this joke,” Plimpton wrote.
“Fresh Air,” which is produced by WHYY in Philadelphia, issued a statement on Tuesday, saying the post was “offensive and unacceptable,” particularly given actress Maria Schneider’s claim that she wasn’t told about the simulated sex scene beforehand and it caused her to “cry real tears.” Schneider died in 2011 at age 58.
my opinion: First they went for the partners of the women who felt badly after sex, but I didn't speak out because a woman had never done this to me. Next they went after the movie director who wanted the actress to be in a simulated sex scene, but I didn't speak out because I am not a director. Next, they went after the movie critic, but I didn't speak out because I am not a movie critic ...

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

its better you ask who is complaining about the thing? first no one caresa bout her and even know who she is, so ita a good free make myself be know, and second attacking someone who is dead who can't defend himself is pretty easy, and the family will not go after because it would or give her some extra claims, and like I said she is so unimportant who they don't even who is she and what she is saying.

I enjoy a lot of the articles MatureDJ links to. He's not agreeing with it, he's posting it to show that this kind of viewpoint exists.
You have to understand your enemy if you are going to defeat it.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

It's really amazing how some people fail to understand the most obvious posts, I wondered what kind of people get burned by drinking hot cofee too soon then sue the bar for that but now I got my answer.
