I was watching this video by Jordan Peterson, and it got me thinking:

Peterson says that women are attracted to men that show an ability to ascend the dominance hierarchy, either by already ascending it, or showing clues that makes her think that the man has the capacity to do so. This would explain why women are attracted to men in political of business power, or in sports or entertainment. It even explains why being "alpha" works, since being "alpha" shows this capacity, whether or not it is really there.

First of all, it's interesting to see Jordan Petersen saying things that mystery said in his mystery method book from 15 or so years ago (venusian arts or something corny like that). In a far less concise way, I would add.

On average, petersen is correct. Higher status men generally date and marry more beautiful women. Having said that, it is ridiculously easy to find examples of extremely wealthy, and/or extremely successful men who married or date average looking women. This is true for professional athletes as well. It's also very easy to find examples of a list actors, top athletes and billionaires who married flat out ugly women.

I've seen professional and especially college athletes out in bars and clubs semi-frequently. Some seem to be quite successful attracting women. Many or most however are semi-anonymous figures. Big names among fantasy sports junkies, but perhaps not as well known as a handful of the most well known names in just 2 or 3 pro sports.

Think about it. How many athletes can the average person name from the nfl, nba or baseball? Let's narrow it down. Say in Los Angeles or SF: how many athletes are household names if you live in those two cities? Maybe Lebron in Los Angeles, and that might be it. SF? Durant, Klay, Steph, maybe Draymond. These are the two most important nba franchises on the west coast and there are only 4 or 5 athletes that a typical sports fan could name off the top of their heads.

Does anyone know who Patric McCaw is? Jordan Bell? Damion McCaw? Damion Lee? Jonas Jerebko? No, he is not a jonas brother. All of these guys are elite athletes. Among the top 300 basketball players in the world. They are all easily among the top 1000 athletes on the planet. Yet, almost no one knows who they are. You would never guess they were professional athletes aside from their height. If they were 6' tall instead of 6'7" not a single person would look twice.

What about in the business world? Warren Buffett, Tim Cook, Mark Zuckerberg, Carlos Slim, Donald Sterling, Jeff Bezos. Yes, they all have something in common. All are billionaires.

Do women find them sexually appealing? I'd bet more women, probably many more women would rather hook up with a 30 year old pro mma fighter making $15K per fight 2 or 3 times a year than one of the billionaires listed above.

Sure, they'd **** any of those guys for a payoff short term preferably, but in terms of sexual attraction? Money alone won't do it. Donald Trump is a billionaire. Most women detest him. But that's a long story.

I see plenty of rich guys buying girls drinks and then a few minutes later the girls are gone as soon as they've finished their drinks. Then they go after good looking guys.

Over the long term, yes, guys with money and the elite of the elite athletes have significant pull. However, these guys get rejected MOST of the time. What's happening is that they are leveraging their money to invest in a few women at a time, but are getting rejected most of the time.

The reality is, most guys get rejected most of the time. Even billionaires. Even A list celebs. Even the top pro athletes. But if you have money, you can leverage the maybe's into yes's.

tl, dr: the best looking guys have a phenomenal advantage in the dating market. Add at least a middle class and preferably upper middle class income and you are golden.

I have been in the game for over a decade and have NEVER heard a woman say that about an ugly guy. Not once. I've lived and gamed in the biggest cities in the US and also in small towns and several points in between.

I agree too. Plenty of social circle, frat and "game" not so handsome dudes killing it due to swag and confidence. Alot of folks cant see clearly cause their vision is clouded by the game the politics and the social hierarchies.

LOL there is a big difference between "not that handsome" and being ugly. A 21 year old frat guy who plays sports regularly is almost never going to be ugly. He may not be model handsome but he's not going to be some fat ugly troll.

The typical college student, average age 21 is going to be far better looking than average. Younger, thinner, better body.

I wouldn't be surprised if the average coed was a 7 conservatively. And the average sorority coed is probably an 8. That means the average fraternity member is likely in that 7-8 range as well.

On another, he talks hypergamy, about women date up across culture.

Peterson goes onto say, women solve the problem of dating by letting the men compete in the dominance hierarchy, and pick whoever wins "and shares." The emphasis on sharing stood out to me.

The big five including conscientiousness and low in agreeableness are typically indications for successful acquisition of resources.


What women say and do don't coincide. If she acquires resources in high income job, say lawyer or doctor, they marry plow horse, have kids, get fat, and **** the milk man before extracting make resources.

Note, Peterson is a trade con but he's red pilled to several degrees. Then again, his wife cannot pull a higher status man then he. I saw a link suggesting Peterson acquired 65k USD a month. His wife cannot find nor attract a better plow horse.

Men need to have their eyes opened. I hope Peterson puts out more content on this stuff. He called mgtow weasels before apologize but, mentioned his failure to save a man from divorce rape.


There's a level of adaptation man must transcend to being.

I don't have any strong objections to Jordan Peterson. He is controlled opposition. He offers up a pseudo-academic alt-lite sanitized version of traditionalism. His rantings on the biological basis of reproduction are especially unoriginal. Even Lovedrop (Mystery's wingman), a stoner pua, could write about such ideas in a more compelling way (and "field tested") over a decade ago.

He's another false teacher leading the gullible masses away from truth by offering PARTIAL knowledge but otherwise keeping you tethered to mainstream media. Don't fall for it.

There are an endless string of pseudo intellectuals. Anyone in the mainstream cannot tell you the truth in an uncensored fashion.
