In the study, men’s desirability peaks at age 50. But women’s desirability starts high at age 18 and falls throughout their lifespan.

“The most popular individual in our four cities, a 30-year-old woman living in New York, received 1504 messages during the period of observation,” the study says. This is “equivalent to one message every 30 min, day and night, for the entire month.” Yikes.

I highly doubt that the average 18 year old is hotter than the average 22 year old

in my experience older girls are hotter in college, so it's probably around 25 where average looks start going down

Agree with that. Also find it hard to believe that desirability in males peaks at 50. I would think it would be lower than that, somewhere in the mid 30s or maybe in the 40s.

I can see it going to 50 if a man continues to work out until that age. Because older guys get that added old man weight lol, and get really strong. If you're already strong when that weight comes on, you'll be the hulk

no idea why but dumb girls are turned off by young looking faces and they want older man. i have set age 28 on OLD but when I tell them im 23 their reaction change

and i mean girls aged from 18 to 25.

they want a boy aged 30.

and they want older man so they can either brag about him to friends or no idea use his assets

Women in the college year .... Look young and their shape are firm like a ''women''. So its like the best of both world... the beauty of youth with the firmness of ''adult''.

About Man... it the same.... Men in their 50's are at the top of provider role, yet they are still looking ''young-in shape'' before the 60's downfall.

So in both case, you are at a speak/last chance/best of both before the fall..

I guess fat for women and hairline for men could make it or break that deal.

A 40 yrs old man with decent hair and great shape scores more than a 20 yrs old men with the same features but make him seriously bald and the balance changes.

Cant really say regarding women cause I have no attraction at all for older than 30 except for few rare cases but body fat in that case makes a hell of a difference, a 20 yrs old girl slightly chubby could be done while an older one its a pass.

It also depends what we are looking for, an older man can still make a woman pregnat succesfully while an older woman drags plenty of problems when it comes of making sane kids, plus there is no expiration date for bread winners.

I think it depends on how big the age gap is and how good looking the guy is.
There are some fit good looking men in their 50s and older, but they are in the minority for their age group esp in North America.

Because they are in the minority, they stand out more than, say, a fit good looking 25 yr old guy because there are many fit good looking 25 yr old guys.

I don’t necessarily see an 20yr old going for a 50 year old man for genuine reasons but I can for sure see a woman in her 30s being genuinely attracted to a fit 50+ older guy.

The way I see it, fit attractive older men and women have lifestyle and genes that will keep them attractive for longer because if they were going to hit the wall at the average stage most do, it would of happened already. For example if he or she hasn’t flabbed and wrinkled out in their 40s or 50s the chances are slim that they will age suddenly fast. Just my observation based on older people I know.

The peak really does vary depending on how fast a person is aging and how fit and attractive they are.

There will always be young women using men for their money and the most tell tale sign of that is if he is not only much older but also unattractive.

But according to guys here, "Providers" are not attractive, they're seen as chumps. I've never quite bought that philosophy though.

I agree that the 50s represent a kind of last chance period. I've known guys in their 50s who dated girls on their 20s. But I'm not aware of any guys in their 60s doing it, unless they were like Hugh Hefner.

I do not like low 20s girls anymore. I just find them too goofy too silly and burst out with something to add to what I just said, and what they have to add is just empty and dumb, vapid...they are running exclusively off their young bodies/faces and haven't read a single goddamned book or care to know about anything. I can listen to a well-read woman for hours on end and it is usually the best case scenario cause all you gotta do is sit back and listen while dropping your eyes to her bo0bs or something. It's letting her do all the work all the entertaining. She wants to be heard, listen. Very young girls have nothing interesting to say and do nothing to try to make your time with them something to remember. They just say to you, "entertain me..." DO something for me. They don't lift a finger. When you're fvcking them rarely there is any giving back due to inexperience.
