I found a 2006 post here referring to “Red Pill”, but the term is not even mentioned in Neil Strauss’s 2005 book The Game. Obviously the metaphor originated in The Matrix movie. But who popularized this term’s application to understanding women?
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
I'm not sure who coined the terminology, but I can tell you that there were posters on this forum - and I'm sure elsewhere - that were espousing red-pill knowledge before it was a thing.I found a 2006 post here referring to “Red Pill”, but the term is not even mentioned in Neil Strauss’s 2005 book The Game. PUA websites are a male dominated space. Men explore. Eventually, PUA theory got boring and the manosphere became an avenue to reach different destinations. This is what men do, and now we're relegated to this space so...I feel like the “red pill” is a pessimistic backlash from men finding out “pua” and “game theory” was just a scam. In addition, these men tend to be the lowest of the denominator with a huge ego that feel like they deserve a woman. As a result, these men did not grow up from the “pua” phase and just learned to blame women for all their problems in life.
When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.
Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.
Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.
The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
Yes, but real men accept women for how they are and adapt. Real men take responsibility for their actions and continue to live life happily. Real men don’t blame spilled milk on feminism influencing gravity. These red pill men are extremely arrogant and continue you blame any problem they have on feminism and women. Sometimes, this can even extend to racism/anti semetism such as Jews control the world, the destruction of the west by Jews, Brown races, women, homosexuals...etcPUA websites are a male dominated space. It’s obvious that you don’t have a true understanding of red pill.I feel like the “red pill” is a pessimistic backlash from men finding out “pua” and “game theory” was just a scam. You can tell me all this fluff about the red pill, but I can just go to any site or section with a major red pill influence and be bombarded with topics ****** about women and feminism. Face it, the stem of red pill philosophy is about some asshurt bets male that can’t get laid and has made it his own personal crusade to constantly **** and moan about women and even resort to racism/anti Semitic conspiracy theories. It’s obvious that you don’t have a true understanding of red pill.
You should do some research/reading on the subject before you state other inaccuracies about red pill.
A good place to start is with Rollo, he was very active on this forum at one time. His blog: therationalmale.com is a wealth of information. I would start with the best of year one.

Hence my point, red pill is anti semetic![]()
Well, yeah.
Forget the cash, the cars, and the chiseled jawlines. Female desire operates on a completely different frequency. Primal. Subconscious. Triggers that bypass her logic and hit her on a gut level. Most guys are totally blind to them.
I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.
Then I decoded the psychology behind what actually makes women tick. 22 hard rules. Subtle behavioral shifts that rewired my entire reality. The anxiety evaporated. Women started leaning in. Investing. Chasing.
All I did was post a picture.Hence my point, red pill is anti semetic

That's what I thought, too.A picture says a 1000 words sometimes
That link contains a wealth of information for men. It wasn't men that couldn't get laid that came up with red-pill thinking. That may have been what started PUA theory, however. You can tell me all this fluff about the red pill, but I can just go to any site or section with a major red pill influence and be bombarded with topics ****** about women and feminism. You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.
Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.
She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.
Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
You're leaving out the man that demands attention by his mere presence. You don't need looks, money or status to achieve this. All you need is masculinity, confidence and an outgoing (even if feigned) personality. There are two sides the Red Pill:
1. The truth about women
2. The truth about what makes men attractive
Blue pill:
1. Women are sweet and always mean well in relationships. Women are moral and need support from a stable man to be attracted to him. Women are loyal.
2. Women are attracted to a man's personality, kindness and stability. The nice guy gets the girl in the end.
Red pill:
1. Women have agendas and seek out men who help them meet those agendas. Women will abandon any man who is not helping her meet her agenda. Women are selfish.
2. Women are attracted to a man's SMV based on his LMS (looks, MONEY and status). Women seek out men who improve their image and lifestyle. Women want babies of high genetic quality when possible.
When someone starts a sentence with "all you need" they are usually selling your snake oil. You're leaving out the man that demands attention by his mere presence. You don't need looks, money or status to achieve this. All you need is masculinity, confidence and an outgoing (even if feigned) personality.
The Wachovski brothers, who are now the Wachovski sisters after both having sex changes, have always been pieces of sh!t. They sponsored a short story contest for a small cash prize, because they have no creative talent of their own. The winning story was The Matrix, written by a black woman (that's why The Oracle is a black woman in the ghetto). They paid her a few hundred bucks, then made a few hundred million off of her story. The movie was a product of AOL-Time Warner, which also owns a sizeable chunk of media and news sites, which is part of why nothing was ever said about the Wachovski brothers being lying thieves.Obviously the metaphor originated in The Matrix movie.
Again, real men learn from their mistakes and move on. If you get screwed over by a woman it’s a two way problem. These men refuse to learn from their mistakes or better themselves so they resort to this sexist/racist ideology as a coping mechanism. It wasn't men that couldn't get laid that came up with red-pill thinking. That may have been what started PUA theory, however.
The red-pill way of thinking came from men that got laid, and then got fvcked over somehow. Their bubble was burst at some point, and they realized that the world wasn't the way they were taught it was.
They then proceeded to tell the rest of us.
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
