The other thing is that I really don't blame my ex... she is just a chick, even though she was in her 40s she has the mind of a teenager. I was the one that failed to control the relationship. I should have kicked her to the curb the 1st year we were married, and definitely before we had kids. I never should have allowed her to emotionally control me.

I knew better.... but I fell into the false narrative that all 'Real" men get married... have children, and stick it out like a man. You surround yourself with other married dudes who all share the same story of BS wife behavior and you just accept your situation as normal. When every married guy you talk to says his wife uses sex like a weapon, spends money like an idiot, treats them like cr@p, you start to believe that this is the way things should be.

The thing that p!sses me off about myself more than anything is I did not marry until my mid 30s.... I was a DJ before this website ever existed, I understood the nature of chicks and STILL jumped into that wild dog pit because I let others convince me that the only way to be a complete man is to 'man-up' get married and be a good plow horse.

Parties, network events, festivals, just out and about. I've never tried OLD... I don't think I would like it. Of the 3 chicks I'm seeing now the first one I mentioned I met at the launch of a green and sustainable businesses event. The 3rd I met at a World Trade Center event right after she assumed her duties at her new job which I will not mention. Posts like this is why I keep coming back here even when I'm drowning in plates. This is the kind of stuff that needs to be put up on refrigerators.

Its very easy to get sucked in. Women are good at finding your weaknesses and leveraging social pressure upon you in a way that makes you do stupid sh*t lol. A good example of this crap is a lot of posts by @BeExcellent on this forum. Loaded with passive aggressive shaming disguised as "advice". Most of these posts can be summed up as saying: "Guys.. do stupid sh*t that's bad for you because "real women" (like me) expect it from you and deserve it from you". Whateves...

This site keeps me from getting sucked into the crap. No matter how well a relationship or plate situation is going, reading the stuff here helps me stay SMART.

If MONEY is your main strength, you have to target broke women or women who like/want a fancy lifestyle and can't totally afford it on their own. They will have sex with you and try to become your girlfriend in hopes it might lead to a better lifestyle for them.
