"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Question of Actual Value vs Perceived Value

So I'm going to preface this by saying I am a bit inebriated, but my thought is how do I show value in a way that women perceive? I'm trying to say that women don't seem to notice the actual value of achievements, specifically mine but I sincerely doubt I am alone.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Frame...how you walk, how you talk, how you carry yourself, your internal dialog, etc.

Being a DJ is not about following a script or set of rules. It's about maintaining the DJ mindset, and always operating inside of that framework.

Explicit show of value is try hard and needy.

I've noticed if you bait a woman into digging information about you and they "accidentally" find high value, they go nuts.

Like an onion having many layers, bait them into digging value in you layer by layer instead of bragging.

Fulfill their imperative to "find" a diamond amongst coal.

This makes perfect sense. My confusion comes from when women assign value where there isn't any and ignore actual value.

They assign value where there isn't any because they're stupid. As in, when they assign value to a disc jockey or some dumb **** like that.

But can I ask... What is your actual value that you seem so confident you possess?

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

They put you through a meat grinder called the Value Filtering Machine.

The gears grind you up and spit you out in the following order. The softer you are, the earlier you get ejected from the machine.

1) How handsome are you?
2) How confident are you?
3) How interesting are you?
4) Are you well dressed?
5) Are you funny?
6) Do you have a good job?
7) Do other attractive women like you?
8) Do men she respects like you?
9) Are you highly attracted to her?
10) Can she get more from you than the next best guy?
11) Can you make her come?
12) Can you keep her interested?
13) Can you give her space?
14) Can you make her emotional?
15) Can she have complete control?

All value is perceived, there would be no things of value without humans to assign it. What you consider valuable may be worthless in a sexual relationship. They can't make love to your achievements...

I just made assistant manager at my Burger King and was awarded employee of the month.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

I've found that having genuine ambition in life is what attracts women.

What about actual SUCCESS?

Anybody can be ambitious. Only a fraction of those become successful.
You're worrying about stuff out of your control at that point.

What does that even mean? I can't be successful?

I think a girl would like a few hundreds as opposed to just a plan to make some.
jesus christ dude. NO. That's not what it means. Having a purpose in life, ambition, a reason to get out of bed in the morning is attractive to women. It's healthy and normal. Too many guys choose what that purpose is based on what they think women want and then get caught in this mindtrap of thinking "Well until I'm successful, I can't get women". It has nothing to do with that. You should have a zest for life, something that makes you happy all on it's own. That makes you attractive to others.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I find this especially true if you make it seem like it's no big deal, because then they wonder what's more to you.

And "assistant manager at Burger King" is not a good answer to that question.
I assumed this was a joking reference to Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982) when Brad (Judge Reinhold) said "You've got a lot going for you, you're assistant to the assistant manager at Burger Barn..."

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
