You can skip the expensive cars, the fancy clothes, and the endless gym selfies. Completely unnecessary.

I used to freeze the second a beautiful woman looked my way. Frustrated. Awkward. Watching other guys walk away with the girl while I stood there tongue-tied.

Okay, so I will try to make this brief. Went to Vegas for a bachelor party this last weekend. Me, 2 dudes, and 2 couples. Got a cabana at a beach club during the day and a booth at XS at night. Still had a great time, but, frankly... I don't do the club scene much (barely at all)... it has always been my weak point...

I guess their normal routine is
1) get fvcked up before the club
2) get a table
3) get groups of women to come to table
4) drinks, chat, then...?

They didn't ever say anything about getting laid... I am thinking "fvck that", I ain't buying women no drinks, they need to come for me... lol... that's not how the club scene works though right? So I went out on the dance floor for a bit, danced with some women, but was largely unsuccessful. Regardless, I was digging the music and met some random people while out there.

So questions...
1) Is it weird to be a single dude out there dancing?
2) Are most of the making out people couples?
3) What are your strategies generally? not like you can talk or do anything?

Fortunately, I number closed on this chick that lives in SF and I'll see her later this week. She was a friend of one of the guys

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

1) Is it weird to be a single dude out there dancing?
Many do it, so it's normal in that regard. I have found no way of successfully attracting a woman doing it though. Seems to be the better option to talk first and then take her out there to dance, if that's your thing
2) Are most of the making out people couples?
No, but they probably didn't meet on the dancefloor and started kissing. As I said they probably talked before that and then moved to the dancefloor.
3) What are your strategies generally? not like you can talk or do anything?
Can't have a strategy in such a chaotic place, you can just have a general idea and try working towards it. I usually just talk to anyone around me and take it from there, anything beyond that point is very situational. I constantly check boundaries and push a little further until there's a negative response. Sometimes that got me far enough to fuck them on the spot, the only important thing to remember is stopping when they clearly don't like your advances.

Did you and one of the single dudes hit any hotel/casino bars? While these bars have their share of prosties, there are single, regular women there too. It's quieter, and you can hold their attention longer (if they like you), and you can talk, kino and then possibly pull them (especially if it's at the hotel you are staying at).

I've never picked up a girl in any venue where the music makes it too loud to talk.

Would have been good. I've had success with that in the past. However, we all left at 4 and got some food. That was pretty much the end of it. My flight was at 7am

Good stuff. Just feels really awkward in general.

Well, I'd say the majority of people in clubs feel awkward. I remain calm because I know how everyone else feels awkward. That's how I gain an advantage in a club, I just feel like normal in a room full of awkward people. Since my mind is calm I perform a lot better than my competition, guys are usually more awkward than girls too. So that makes it very easy to get them, because they'll appreciate a normal guy after turning down 10 awkward dudes.

Honestly I don't understand what it is about clubs that's so awkward to so many.

Have a quick chat, get her to follow you outside for some fresh air and have a good talk there. Problem solved.

Hi,

I personally don't club either, but when I did it was all or nothing for me. I'd meet them and immediately try to take them somewhere private so I can **** or I'd get blown out. Rarely did I ever grab a phone number from a chick in the club because they're mainly attention *****s that have other obligations during the day - marriage, families, etc.

Be prepared to look sleazy as **** though. Lol.

I used to bounce from club to club when I burned my bridges from one to the ground. Good times

I learned a long time ago that the right dive bars are much better - although for some reason at big honky tonk (when country music was having a renaissance in the early 90s), decent women would sometimes approach me, while I seemed to be radioactive to anyone I approached.

And also, avoid lounges. Lounges are the worse. People are supposed to talk, yet the music is super loud, and people are just awkwardly standing around staring at each other bopping their heads while strictly staying in their circle of friends. Lounges are the most anti-social place for you to pick up women on a weekend night because they will surely come out with c0ckblocking friends.

I think lounges are perfectly designed to make people feel awkward so they have to buy drinks.
Your idea of a lounge seems to be different than mine - a place where the music is low volume.

I love vegas clubs. I either go with a group of guys or with one girl. It sucks you had to sit at a table with couples.

XS is great for game. I pulled two girls in the line once. If you look like you're having fun, you'll do well. Don't expect to get laid.

I usually do the same routine that your friends do. Pregaming is often the most fun part. If you are drinking in your suite with a bunch of friends, it will be a good night for sure.

You must not be a good dancer, while nightclubs success ratio are slim, if you know how to move you can take women home,
I'm a drummer. Dancing is what people who don't know how to play the drums do when they hear music.

Avoid these kinds of clubs [they are very common in the Asian country in which I'm residing at the moment]. They are complete scams. Go to clubs/ bars where people can mix and mingle.

Here's a really good piece of advice...don't go to clubs looking for women, go to clubs to have fun. Also, most clubs absolutely suck as far as music and environment goes...make it a point to hop around with some friends and find what suits you the best. If you can find a place that you fit into and genuinely have fun with when it comes to being yourself, then you're going to.naturally attract people to you.

Point in case, I'm a musician and swear by places that have live music with a dj only working between sets or for the last hour...I'm literally there for the band and to have fun doing what I enjoy and not anything else. Magically, I'll have people all over me the whole time looking to dance/sing/hang out whether I want it or not, just because I put off a natural vibe of "that guy looks like he's having a great time...I want in on that so that I can have a great time too". It's a classic example of "good things will happen when.you least expect it/just be yourself".

Don't worry about pickup lines and all this crazy preplanned methodology bull****...be spontaneous, genuine, and have fun. Also, interact with people just for the sake of doing so...compliment women here and there naturally just for the sake of being nice and you'll be surprised how many of them will find you later for a dance. Body language and posture is also big...don't just stand there with your arms crossed and remember to hold your drink down at your side/not in front of you, face people directly when speaking and stay that way, keep eye contact, etc.

I use a more cerebral approach. If I can't say a word to them, I'm not going to score.

I credit men who can score by dancing. I could never do it. To me though, those girls seem raunchier than strippers on average. To have sex with someone who you never really spoke a word to seems worse than selling table dances.

Thats the other thing...most women are there just to have fun/get attention...nine times out of ten you're not getting anything more than a dance. If you're looking for a quick dance or so, it's entirely possible to run through a ton of women in one night; that is literally considered a victory of sorts and should be taken as a sign that you're doing something right.

Clubs are just there for self-esteem boosts and working on your social abilities...actually meeting someone seriously/taking a girl home is pretty ridiculous and way, way less likely than most people would want you to think. Clubs are mostly for hit and run flirting...you're an idiot if you get frustrated because you're not regularly going beyond that.

Yes, this is a great attitude as far as bars/ clubs go.

As I'm on holiday at the moment, I went out to the bars alone [in a Korean city]. I met a couple of foreign ladies at the bar, had a great chat and got social. Then I started talking to a couple of Korean ladies. The less hot one seemed friendlier... but when I showed her to much attention, the hotter one was all over me. So I move these two to another bar where I learnt earlier a DJ was playing. I also invited the foreign ladies and a guy who'd turned up. We all ended up at a large table and had a lot of fun... meeting half the other punters in the club that night.

As for the hot Korean girl, yep, she was looking for as much attention as she could get.. approaching a lot of guys. Once she saw they were interested, she moved on. I had fun, didn't drink to much, went home early.

The previous weekend, I was out and met a lady at the bar. She was cute, but I wouldn't say hot. She initiates a text once every two days. These are the kind of women you want to meet when going out. The hotties at a club are just for fun, with the attention span of a four year old.

It's the honest truth...there's SO much to consider for why a girl will shut a guy down or leave; often it has nothing to do with the guy himself. Nightlife is just for fun/flirting and gaining a bit of perspective about yourself...nothing wrong with that. And if you go out often enough, you'll definitely run into some funny situations from time to time where things do go beyond flirting/dancing. It's just what it is and not worth getting worked-up over.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.
