You're right. And another thing I wanted to say is that the kind of bodies we have these days are not natural. Where every muscle has been isolated and maximized. Our ancestors weren't doing that. They were strong and lean from hunting, gathering, and farming. But they weren't bodybuilding. It's a completely different look.
 

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

In my experience, face, height, and career are more important than physique. Being ripped is a luxury. If you are handsome, tall, and make 6 figures, 99% of women aren't going to complain because you have a bit of a whiskey belly from drinking the finest scotch.
Although that may be true what use is this information? Only one of the three factors you mentioned is directly controllable and even then only in the long run.

Bodybuilding is appealing because it's a relatively easy way to increase your attractiveness.

Wow, you seriously need to get laid.

I don't fight dirty, but I do work in Government security on computer networks and as recently as 2015 I used to train the Army and Marines on how to shoot.

Back on topic. I prefer my own physique and think I could take any of those guys in a fist fight (and Fruitbat could win with a house key and hatchet), except maybe Bearmode. Bearmode would get a bear hug and it would be over. I'd have two shots to win, via reach.

Thats awesome on the shooting training, im interested to hear where did you train Soldiers an Marines to shoot?

If we're going to go in to the historical context, as much as I rate Sean Connery, he is a baby-boomer. That post-war, free-love generation were about as far away from hunting and gathering as is possible; probably the advent of the modern middle classes becoming the majority; participating in little or no exercise or physical labour, the beginning of the end of sexual dymorphism. Nowadays, I look around and I see that dymorphism has completely reversed in some cases; I see women who would probably beat the living sh!t out of 80% of the male population. There's nothing wrong with working out, wanting to be strong and healthy and look good. In fact, if it were not for the concurrent health and fitness revolution, I would have said men were recently in danger of becoming the weaker sex altogether.

I have an "ottermode" body type and in my early 40's. Always get compliments when I take my shirt off. I'm very active, work out 3 days a week,(sometimes more), eat pretty decent most of the time, take some C4 pre-work out, protein, and creatine. All the girls compliment me when I take my shirt off. It wasn't always that way. I haven't met a girl yet that didn't find the ottermode/athletic types most attractive.

I worked on laser training software based on Far Cry engine and actual weapons,retro fitted with laser pointers. I am also a sharpshooter with CC permits in FL, TX and GA.
