"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I was out on an outdoors Meetup the other day and got to talking to some of the single ladies and they said even though there are singles themed groups/mixers at these locations...most of them tend to not only drink a lot, but also sleep around with people from within the group.

Apparently, there's a rather hedonistic lifestyle among actual singles, and there's a good amount, too. While you're better off taking on a non-singles related activity like hiking, board games, kayaking, paddle boarding, biking,e tc. Special NICHE groups where you won't have to worry about some drunk arsed guy/gal approaching you.

Seems that single people kind of lean towards having liquid courage to approach the ladies, but it's interesting the majority (in my area) tend to indulge in libations if they want to meet other women.

Anyone experience that in their areas?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Alcohol is dominant all over the US. And the nightclub and bar industry is nonsense for the most part. It's pathetic to need a substance to work up the courage to pursue one's goals. If you can do it sober, you definitely have a head start on the rest of these people. I have been gaming for over 10 years, and haven't been drunk a single day (and no I'm not a former alcoholic)--it's just not my thing. Save the money, become a better person. You got this!
