I agree that men are becoming emasculated but what I've observed in pop culture, at least in my sphere is that due to the rise of super metrosexualism more men are actually hitting the gym. The dad bod trend died 2 years ago. Maybe this is my observation since I live in a status centric state.

Idk. I go out a lot and mostly kick it with girls in the 18-21 y/o range, so I end up meeting a lot of guys in that age range. There are some who get it and some who don't--but the disparity between these two camps is way wider than it was 6 or so years ago. The ones who get it really get it--and the ones who don't are completely pathetic. But I'd say a far greater percentage of guys in that age range get it than guys in the 29+ range--most of whom are total lifeless, whipped, defeated doormats. (Disclaimer--I personally know guys in their 30's & 40's who are killing it, but they're few & far between.)

But this is just in regards to women. I'd say, financially, what you're looking at is just a natural reaction to a lack of incentives. What's the point in busting your ass for 20+ years when you won't find a woman worth that investment (and pvssy's cheap these days)? When if you do decide to support a woman you won't get any respect or status in the community at large? When women actively reward the guys who've turned their back on doing things the old-fashioned way & when if you do decide to invest in a woman you stand to lose a considerable chunk of your assets?
