Any suggestions or recommendations fellas?

I don't want to drop a lot of money but I don't want to completely cheap out either. My range would be be around $200-$400.

All I know about watches is that they are supposed to match your belt buckle, and ones with only one color (gold are silver) tend to get better reactions than dual colors.

You might want to try an experiment, if it's possible. Wear your normal clothes, and go to a department store and do some split testing. A different watch on each wrist, then ask ladies who pass by which one looks better.

Keep at it for a few hours until you've got a winner (A vs B, B vs. C, etc.)

That's a good practical solution. Thanks.

I don't really have a specific preferred style as I don't wear watches often and have maybe worn 3 different every now and then my whole life (I'm 23).

I think if I'm well-dressed, a gold watch would be the way to go. Maybe a leather strapped one? This might be me only, but I feel silver watches are something I would wear if I was in high school.

IMO, if you are going to buy a watch, get something really high-end, like Rolex or Omega (which will last you a lifetime and might actually appreciate in value) or a get a simple practical watch like Citizen or Seiko for ~$200.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

I have a gold boliva, stainless invicta and a gold rolex. If you have the money a rolex stainless aviator would go with everything. Very cool high end watch. I wear the invicta which looks like a stainless rolex aviator everday.

Avoid gold. Too blingy. So too Rolex. Go for a mid-range silver one.

Also, if you like watches, buy a few. Different watches for different occasions.

I find the gold or silver debate can be solved by your skin tone. If you have darker skin, go with gold. If you have lighter skin, silver is the answer. This applies not only to watches, but to all jewellery.
Still think it looks too blingy... especially on Indians who just love to wear their gold.:D
