There is this girl i had a crush on back in primary school.
I was thinking about asking her out and had the idea of using the fact that i had a crush on her to my advantage. Something like "Remember primary school? Let me do things properly this time and take you out on a date"

Toughts on the idea?

If it's been more than 8 years forget it unless you frame it in the 'catch up with your life' mode and see where that takes you.

Framing it in the 'past mode' will make you look like a pathetic loser with no current options to her. Not the image you want to convey to her… It's a woman's thing to dig around in her past when she has no current options left and no good prospects. She would recognize it from the start.

If you do get to meet her and find she's single, get her number and suggest a date before the end of first meet up.

In 4th grade I had a crush on a cute little blonde; she was the Nelly Olson of the school. Blonde little snot nosed b!tch. In 2015 we met up thru a mutual friend and had a little F fling. I waited 29 years to hit that little azz. Was it worth it? Not really I've had better lol

Well i guess i am confronted with special conditions since we live in the same village and see each other quite regularly since we have many common friends.

And it was about 10 years ago when i had a crush on her (when i was 9-10)

Your biggest obstacle might be her viewing you only as a friend then. Still shouldn't bring up your feelings from the distant past though if you've been around her that long. It would remind her of how long you have only been an acquaintance or friend to her without making a move. Keep it in the present as much as possible.

Yeah I understand, the thing is I lost contact with her for a few years and about 2 hears ago we started talking again and recently a bit more than before. I think if i want to make a move it should be in close future

You cannot just ask out a girl and expect her to give you a resounding "YES!" You need to build rapport with her and initiate kino (unless she initiates first).

Women will do what their emotions are telling them. If you've been playfully flirting with her, then you're going to have a better chance getting a resounding "YES!" If you're only betting on the fact that she's known you (or about you) for a decade, it's doubtful you're going to be successful in getting a date.

Before I even consider a woman to be dating material, I have to get the rapport flowing and I base my decision to ask her out on how well I've built rapport with her. If she smiles and has fun conversing with me, then I know I can move in for the kill. If she's just kinda passive about me, then I move on.

When you've initiated contact and dated enough women, you get a good sense for whether she's interested or not. The best thing you can do is go out into the real world and practice different things. The only way you develop that sense is by experience.

Never bring up your feelings. Just move forward and ask her out.

I had the same situation, asked her out, had a good time. We parted eventually

I went to a party, meet this goodlooking couple. Than the girl told me, they meet in primary school, 15 years of NC/life appart, they reconnected by facebook.. been in LTR for 4 years now.

Just do it, ask her the typical way

If she didn't know you liked her then you shouldn't bring it up now (as in, don't bring up liking her previously unless she knew)

Aside from that just do what you normally do to get girls
