PSA: Women won't make you happy.

If I'm being honest it's actually quite the opposite. Women will be closer to the bane of your existence. All the time, money and energy you'll waste, all the lying, flaking, and deceit you'll have to deal with, and just for an act of intimacy that will likely last no more than 10-20 minutes and probably won't even be near as exciting as you fantasized.

I've never felt happy when trying to charm a woman. Never. Not once. It's not fun. If anything, it's demoralizing and humiliating that I have to lower myself and cater to someone less intelligent than me, less attractive than me, and less ambitious than me just to have sex with her.

Nothing that has ever made me truly happy has included women. My family, my friends, and, ahem... Caffeine... Are the only things that I seem to derive happiness from.

Longer story short... Don't look for your happiness in women--you won't find it. Ever. You will always, every single time, end up depressed if you do. Learn from my experience or suffer the same emotional instability as me.

Sounds more like a cause than an effect.

Women will play whatever role in your life you assign for them. It sounds to me like you're too much in your head--you still want women to live up to some egalitarian fantasy--you want women to be like men (rational, ambitious, honorable). The key to enjoying women is to get in touch with your body, owning your desire, relating to them on a primal level.

Enjoy them for what they are instead of being bitter toward them for what they're not (and were never meant to be in the first place). What that means is you have to arrange a life where all your needs for companionship, empathy, and understanding are already met (though I'd argue you can fulfill all those things for yourself). When you don't expect women to provide you anything, they can be such a fun and enjoyable addition to your life.

True joy is incomprehensible to most people, so yeah I prefer to be the provider anyway. That way, ladies know where to go.
