"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

whats up with this?

Chick and I basically called it quits. She was pretty attractive but insecure. She had a AFC guy who possibly gave her the world before she met me (and still in the picture trying to win her back lol) and I pretty much ran a alpha aloof strategy knowing this. We had great sex and basically she loved all of my forward physical escalations even in public. She would constantly get upset at me for silly **** like not texting her all the time at work and what I feel like things she probably compared to the AFC as someone who "really loves her". We had "the talk" and I Told her we clearly weren't in a relationship...especially with this guy hanging around, and that I'm ok with just dating and be uncommitted. This I can tell severely got to her.

Our last argument basically untied the strings and I believe I made a beta emotional statement through text like "if u want to be involved with me, then be involved. If you don't, then don't" and she just said then I won't. Now she's telling all her friends who I have had conversations with that I want her all about me and not showing the same in return. Mind you in my mind and through ACTIONS I was.

My question is: do you guys chalk this up to disguised low interest from a female like this or do you guys ever run into aspects where you being alpha and spinning may make an insecure chick just seek someone else?

Thanks

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I don't think what you said was beta. Yes, your second statement is correct. She could just be insecure seeking someone else.

When I cut a girl off the other day she said she never had anyone break up with her before, she'd always been the one to do the breaking up. I simply said I wasn't interested in "x type of behavior" and left. She promised not to do it again but damage was done and I thought it would be weak to go back.

A couple of things. One that helps rationalize that she did nothing wrong and she's completely justified. Women don't like thinking that they did something wrong because they have poor emotional management. Also possibly more of a side effect is that if you feel guilty when you feel like its your fault you will think that if you change for her, she will come back. It's very hard for a woman to leave you if you don't care.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

^^^this

OP your response was fine. "if u want to be involved with me, then be involved. If you don't, then don't" is not beta at all IMO. I have said the same thing with a different choice of words, in fact, I said this to the last STR I just ended a few weeks ago: "I won't be another one of your orbiters begging like a dog to be with you. I have other options as well. With me we are either seeing each other, or we are not."

Come on bro, you are so good that she has "disguised low interest?" You are so good and are "too alpha, rich, attractive, and famous" that she can't handle it and seeks a guy with no job and no prospects? Yeah I don't think that's it.

Don't give a girl an ultimatum, how sexy is that? Not sure how guys sleep with hot girls and then when things don't go to your liking you ask questions like this.

That's why I asked if the ultimatum is beta, because a part of me thinks the ultimatum was was a bit beta just based on the fact that I'm giving her options.

Who gives a sh!t? Start spinning new plates. Life is too short to waste thinking about b!tches with mental problems.

I never feel bad about doing anything I believe is right. If other people don't like it.. that's on them. I won't feel bad as long as I approve of what I did. And this is the mindset that will allow you to STOP chasing after a woman's interest level. Hypergamy is real and women WILL lose interest in you over time (unless you lose interest first) the majority of the time. It is not something worth analyzing and it has more to do with HER than you.

Too many men waste precious time crying over dumb b!tches who aren't worth sh!t. Wake up men.

A cat will play with a mouse for a while before she kills it...(ie when her interest is gone...)

don't be the mouse in this situation....be busy being gone

women communicate covertly.....show her who you are and what you
want by your actions....she goes with it, she goes with it...

if she doesn't....what do you care....your busy with your other options and persuits

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
