"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Admit it, cold approaching doesn't exist in the UK.

1. I have never ever seen this happen in my life. Not at the gym, which I have been to a lot and is near a university, and not anywhere in a university campus which I attended for four years. Every single cold approach video I see on youtube (not many tbh) is either guys chatting crap to half drunk women, guys approaching girls in either LA or NY (enough said), or on some overly friendly Mormony university campus in Utah, where you could talk all sorts of crap to a girl and she'd still act overly friendly. I guess there are many London videos but it's just talking to tourists, so that doesn't count.

I guess it could possibly happen at nightclubs, though I guess that doesn't really count. When you look at all the rigmarole associated with spending nights at clubs, it takes away most of the advantages of cold approaching.

I first heard of this board from the book of pook, which is a good book, but it doesn't really bridge the gap between his advice and seeing cold approach as a viable option anywhere. If my gut tells me that it's cringey, then why would I be wrong?

2. Haven't you seen those Tinder screenshots where the fake male model (or just good looking guy) profiles get tonnes of matches and then they can say all sorts of weird stuff and still get numbers? This works in both the UK and USA? Doesn't this prove that looks are basically everything? Or are you going to say that online and real life are different?

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Just because you've never seen it happen in your life doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

I love this. A lot of people have the attitude that if it didn't happen to me it didn't happen. Very closed minded.

im from the UK

it doesnt happen much because its stigmatised

BUT it does happen

theres a guy in my gym

ALL he does is cold approach, he gets mixed results but he doesnt care and to be fair girls are never rude to his face

if im on a nightout i wont hesistate to cold appraoch a girl , infact i dont give them a break

90% of my lay count has been from random one night stands , they have got to come from something

if you have a negative attitude you will fail miserably with women

The only place cold approach doesn't happen in Muslim countries. Never really tried in the UK, but cold approach is hard in Germany and Poland, those are the only two countries I've been in, where I tried, that cold approach was noticeable difficult.

OP, to further quote marcus aurelius, because a thing seems difficult for you, do not think it impossible for anyone to accomplish.

I don't see it happen much in the USA in the places I frequent. But then again I don't go to clubs anymore and would bet it still happens a lot there. I am a regular at two bars, both of which are a lot of other "regulars" like me and we really don't go there for courtship, we go there for friendship and beership! I think a lot of guys around here in my neck of the woods, no matter what their thought processes and mindsets otherwise are, think that all the good women are already taken so it's pointless to cold approach. And a lot of them are taken, but many of them aren't. You bet your azz I will do it when opportunity calls, but I don't go out purposely looking... I know women who wear rings on their ring finger just so they don't get approached...

I'd love to visit the UK. The folks who I know who have been there really liked it.
