Next time you have a ho in your/her apt and she is half naked as in your case there is no need for verbal communication.

You simply take her by the hand and lead her into the bedroom; or join her in the shower as the case maybe.

Women like men who take the initiative. You failed to take action. She sensed your hesitance and bailed out.

I agree to a certain extent that guilt may have been a factor. But, if you had led, she would have forgotten her borefriend and you would have been fycking like a porn star.
