"I love you" in T Minus 2 weeks

Ok here the deal..

Ive read that a DJ should never say I love you before the women. Ive been seeing this girl for about 5 months now and I really dig her. We get along great and blah blah blah. However, this fall I am studying in Italy. There have been times where an "I love you" probably would of worked out. I just know it would almost be akward if I was at the airport ready to leave for 4 months and not having someone say it. Is this un DJish? Should I still hold out?

Moral of the story... You'll sound like wuss if you say it first.

Saying "I Love You" can either make a relationship or break a relationship, it'll turn from what it is now to better or to worst, so thats a really big risk you taking if you wanna say it first.

ITs like giving yourself to her, like you below her (at least thats what shell think in her mind "Oh yeah i got him onlock now" )

So let her say it first. Believe me ive been in kinda the same scenario and guys on this site gave me real good advice and yet i still told her that i loved her, needless to say the RL went downhill.

Couldn't have put it better myself. The last GF I said that to first dumped my ass. The night I said it I could feel things tighten up (in a bad way) right after I said it.

There is no reason to tell her that first, none whatsoever. Tell me what benefit it brings you?
