Anybody else seen his two recent interviews? Whatever your take on the man, they were pretty good fun to watch.

Maybe, just maybe he's completely delusional but goddamn he's entertaining and I think the joke is on us. At the very least he's toying with the networks and the tabloids for his own self-amusement which I can't help but like. Chalie is having it his way.

Seems like there are people who are offended by the very idea of Charlie Sheen, some of them in his own network. Like his very existence is a threat to their fragile(?) way of life, I imagine he's equally despised by liberals and conservatives (womanising/conspicuous excess and drug use respectively). Seems that he personifies a successful(?) but threatening alternative to either status quo and that scares a lot of people.

What I find most endearing about the guy is how unapologetic about his habits he is! He really goes out of his way to own his antics, there's no excuses or blame dodging. In the same breath he makes it clear who's responsible for the success of two and a half men - it's Charlie Sheen.

He appears manic. However, he is an actor, so who knows?
Historically such public behavior rarely has a happy ending.
I haven't watched his show lately. I wouldn't trade places with him.

I have a cousin that is all whacked out on all kinds of drugs and he is EXACTLY like sheen in terms of acting weird, defensive, and all kinds of stupid. Its the drugs combined with some psychological crap. The dude is all kinds of farked up, its sad.

I agree. Dude is out of control. He doesn't have good people around him. It may turn out bad for him. I hope not.

That being said. That **** IS funny as fvck. The interview comes on in a few mins on ABC. F-18s bro. Vatican Assassins. Cured it. With. My. Mind. Winning.

I'm along for the ride in either case, but you're right, it's definitely the question that always comes up when he's discussed.

I do tend to think people want to see him play out the classic story of self-destructive Hollywood bad boy, people want to see him get his comeuppance and say, see, I told you so, you can't buck the system forever. I even think stories are selectively reported to fufill that narrative the public has chosen for him - true for any celeb.

On the other hand you have this picture of a guy who is very professional when it comes to his job. A girl I dated was in the audience for a live filming, sure enough, he hit every mark and every line.

I think it's likely that he'll see more success rather than ending up dead, unemployable or homeless - which is how this "story" usually ends.

people say he is "out of control" and it's "quite sad" but this is how the man has rolled his entire ****ing life. He's just a different cat.

It never amazes me, when someone is different, does things that are not seem as norm here come the mortality police, this and that. This coming from an addict, the man ****ing holds down a job paying him 1.7 million dollars per episode, if the man can do that, still be a damn good actor ("he was the man in wall street for crying out loud), then more power to him if that is how he choses to live his life. I don't do coke, becuase I can't function at that level and do coke at the same time. He obliviously can and has for decades. Good for him. Hell he is one of us. He doesn't want to get married anymore, that's what we preach here. He spins plates, that's what we do here. Half the people here smoke weed and drink. He just takes that **** to a new level.

for all the bad people around him there isn't a guy that wouldn't run butt naked in time square on NY's Day to **** denise richards and bree oleson

so the **** what if he doesn't live to be 80, he's living his life the way he wants to live it, and as long as he's not hurting anyone else physically in the process, more power to him.

Actually, people that you call the morallty police say that shyt to be polite. We REALLY don't care. It's just funny. We say that because that's what normal people say in these situations. Stupid people who can't handle their drugs are just fools and trolls bro. LULZ.

What are you talking about honestly?

I dont think there was a scandal yet where he was caught with drugs yet.

The only thing the guy does is drink and parties with fairly known named people.

Normal people DONT just say something just because they DONT CARE...thats stupid.

Normal people say stuff like this to cut down the guy that is having fun with his life. The same thing happens when a guy tries to cut you down saying your a player infront of a girl.

Stupid people who dont know how to ACTUALLY LIVE LIFE are just "Fools and Trolls."

SMH, I like how everybody has an opinion on Charlie, Mel Gibson, Lindsay, and all of the so called "wilding out" celebrities because we quote unquote "care so much about them"!

Give me a break, most of the same people all up in these folks business have a drunk neighbor right next door they don't even CARE about.

People just like to be the morality police and look down on others in an ATTEMPT to make themselves look so "holy" and "mighty."

Everybody has a Charlie Sheen in their family, could be a brother, uncle, or whatever, and most people lose their numbers and isolate them from their lives. STOP trying to be holier then thou.

you guys don't get it. huge difference between charlie sheen and linday lohan. Charlie can do what he does, and still function. Lindsy on the other hand, is flat broke and has lost everything.

I have an uncle that is a drug addict, he's my dad's oldest brother, he is literary persona non grata in the family. I haven't seen him since I was 8.

It's not the drugs that gets to people. It could be anything, whenever someone is seen as successful at anything in any light, people have to try to justify why it's wrong or why they are better. it's no different than you spinning 3 plates and some guy giving you the marriage bit or how you should not be a player. you know in your heart what you do is what you do, and you know the rationale behind why that person says what they say.

As overpaid as I think he is, somebody thinks he's worth the money.

IMO, the man can do whatever he wants as long as he doesn't mess up other peoples lives.

With the news that 2.5 men had canceled filming because of Sheen, I felt that Sheen should have been forced to pay the salaries of what the cast and crew would have received, if the show filmed for the rest of the seasons. It is his fault filming was halted.

I don't know fellas, the network seems like they stopped the show to save face. Not because they actually give a damn.

Every report I've seen says that the guy never cost the studio any money, and he always knows his lines. Doesn't look like the studio has a legal leg to stand on.

I like the show. I think they should let him come back and do more. I just hope the guy doesn't kill himself before the series finale.

Filming was first shut down because Sheen was in rehab.

It was decided to stay shut down after Sheen started his rants.

He will probably get his own reality show since it seems like his real life is much more interesting then his much lighter and subdue version of him on the tv show.

Although the man isn't 25 years old but 45 years old with childrens, and at that age he probably shouldn't party like he did 20 years ago if he wants to see 65.

Feeling ya.

Charlie is breaking all the rules, about drug use, about relationships, about rehab, appears to be doing it successfully, and isn't humble about any of it (and why should he be). I think that's why some people are out to break him, it can't be because they're losing money on him, he's very bankable, probably even more so now.

Lol, in a nutshell, Haters gonna hate.

Seriously though, the reason it's so interesting is because coke-filled suitcases aside, this is DJ vs the Matrix writ large and in prime time.

Considering that he's (1) just had his kids taken away from him by the police and (2) has been fired from an insanely easy job that paid him $1.2 million per episode, I don't think the joke is on us.

The saddest thing? He's a famous multi-millionaire, but the girls he's with -- his so-called "goddesses" -- are 7s. 7.5s if I'm being generous. There are plenty of guys on So Suave earning less than $100k/year that can do better with girls than Charlie can. When you need to pay hookers and porn stars $30K just to party with you, that's pretty pathetic. Especially for a guy who, in theory, possesses the abstract attributes (fame, insane amounts of money, decent looks) that should be able to get him 9.5s and 10s.

Here is a quote from 20/20 that stood out.

some of it was on me because I was people pleasing and when your people pleasing, your soul is dead. At the end of the day you are left with yourself and you think , god I didn't take care of myself...again
I spent a lot of my youth as a people pleaser, and I can agree that your soul is dead when you do this. I used to help people with their work for no pay, would always volunteer my time, be the driver ( since I had a car in high school), and it gave people the liscence to disrespect and walk all over me. It sucks. When you work on yourself and respect yourself, you become a more venerable person in other peoples eyes, and I have seen this in the past 10 years.

An example. Even after my college years, I have been a pretty helpful guy and have been there for helping people move. I don't mean just move, I mean lifting all their heavy ****, packing their crap, and moving from one appt to the other. Sometimes I would be the only one to show up, and usually the last one to leave. Than along came one time I needed help moving out of my apartment in the city, and NONE of these people came to help. (props to the two who did, one of which I didn't even know). That utterly disgusted me. One of my friends recently asked if I could help him move a few months ago, and I simply didn't reply. Charity case, done. F- that. He's old enough to get a mover. Unless you are on a small list of friends to help move, either pay me or pay someone else.
