thanks for the advice; i usually don't warm up with anything but i start off with some easy reps to get me ready for my main ones...i'll try some stretching beforehand. Also, I do push my head into bench, but that's only during the heavy stuff...i get the pain even when i'm warming up...also...
Has anyone ever gotten like a knot of pain in the back of their neck during bench? I feel it when i exhale (even if its not much weight at all) during the middle of the workout and it usually hurts for about 10 minutes before it goes away. A friend of mine had the same thing and stopped...
