What it you oppinion on mechanical engineering. There has always been this image problem with graduate engineers image being lowered because technicians call themselves engineers.

What do you think about mechanical engineers/ what springs to mind when you hear mechanical engineer.

I think about guys designing and building things like machinery/cars/etc.

I was going to go into mechanical engineering, but switched to sciences, why? Because you can take all the same courses plus business if you do that, and your knowledge is exactly the same, then you can skip into whatever you want for the last 2 years and get you degree the easy way.
