"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Girl and me are hitting it off.

She says she wants to chill with me and she makes plans and follows through

Chilled with her yesterday

She wants to chill more and she initiates the plans to chill

As we were setting up plans to chill somehow parties came into the convo and she texts "I can't bring you to a party because im still friends with my ex and it would be awkward as he is always there"

Interpet this. What should I say, if anything.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

you answered your own question.
"I can't bring you to a party because im still friends with my ex and it would be awkward as he is always there"
everything that seems awkward is because of some kind of insecurity toward something or someone. she doesn't want you to be seen with here because she is spinning you as a plate and you know like i know that you don't bring your plate to meet another plate of yours at the same venue.

if the roles where reversed; what would you do?

as for the answer: just don't respond. I had some similar situation in the past and the girl bombarded me with apologizing texts/calls the next morning.

i don't know about you but if it was me i would have some other plans that night/day anyway with another plate or with my friends. that's why abundance of pvssy/women is the right way to cut all the drama and mind games.

I sort of intuitively came to the same conclusion as this. Just wanted some assurance from you guys!

I havent responded and I wont. I only want to fxck her, nothing more, so if it doesnt pan out because she is still caught up on her ex I could literally not care less.

As for having an abundance of women, I usually always have 2-3 plates and like 5-10 backup girls on the arsenal which I could pursue as plates. So the outcome independence and indifference is strong in me.

Thanks for the advice mate! repped.

Short answer: she values her ex more than you. You're wasting your time, move on.

Do not respond. Delete and move on. She gave you all the answer you needed to hear. She values her relationship with her ex more than you.

Whatever she sends to you, ignore and delete.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

DJ: "If the party is boring have your ex call me. I could use a smart wingman"

Flake: "why do you say he is smart? You don't know him"

Dj: " he's not in a relationship with you anymore is he? Oh come on can't you take a joke! Have fun."

**** it brotha, I would just say Okay, or nothing. Silence is sometimes the best answer. Then go do something else.

Or you could go the route and say, "I can't wait to meet him".

For the first time I (almost) completely disagree. From experience recently...
Better play(if you WANT to keep f^cking her. If not then its moot).

"I dont want to bring you around because I am still friends with my ex"

you- " No problem I get that. Don’t want to have to explain to everyone who I am all night and catch sh!t from him because he is insecure and all." I would feel the same way bringing you around my exs. I still stay in touch with most of them. As a matter of fact, I haven’t seen Danielle in a while. I am going to hang with her and catch up. We can compare notes next week"

Disclaimer- I did this on the phone. Text would blur the effectiveness I think.

THEN you go ghost for a week or 2.

When I said this to the plate she lost all frame. Texted me all night about how he never showed and she wishes I was there. Blah Blah. Went ghost for a week and then reached out. I was polite, made her laugh, and when she asked how it went with Danielle I changed the subject. Then I went ghost again for another week. The next time she had off she traveled to my house for the weekend. Anytime the ex came up again it was her trying to make him a smaller and smaller item. Didnt matter though cause I never really cared. Smashing weekend and have been blowing her off since. Pretty sure though I could sleep at her house anytime I ask.
