"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Ok, normally I don't have a problem approching or talking to HB8's or HB9's.
But theres this HB7.5 that for some ****ing reason I can't really get into a good conversation with, theres just something that makes me nervous and throws me off.

I first met her when she came over to my apartment for a party my roommate was throwing back at the end of March. We don't know anything about eachother, other then eachothers names, we never really talked. Three weeks ago I asked my roommate who she was and found out they have class together. Apparently we have a class in the same building at the same time. Now, I've never seen her before her class except for the last two weeks (which just happens to be the two weeks after I asked my roommate about her, coincidence?).

Anyway, both of the times I talked to get I just got nervous and ended up going to class w/o # closing because for some reason I am nervous around her, and only her.

Now, I feel like a pathetic AFC loser because of this, and I need some help overcoming this crap. Someone come punch me in the face and tell me to stop being a pansy.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Yeah you're being dumb because you're probably visualizing the kids, the family van and the summer vacations together already ;).

Either you're really into her for some inexplicable reason or you guys don't have any chemistry. Go with the former and get her to have coffee with you!

Ah, the paradox of being really attracted to a girl (for whatever reason). You like her, but you don't want to treat her different from any other girl you just met. But then there's something different about her, and you put value on her. You wouldn't want to game a chick without high value to you, right? Then you start slipping on your game because you've given her this value.

I can tell when I'm into a girl because I get a little anxious/excited when I'm around her. Nothing I can do about it, it's an emotional response. I suppose the best thing to do is just try to keep your emotions from affecting your game. You can't control how you feel, but you can control how you act. Speak a little more slowly, keep up confident body language, and just go for it like any other chick.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Where do you live? I have the brass knuckles at the ready ;). But seriously, there's only so much we can tell you. I'd say just do what works well for you in other situations. You have successes to fall back on, so fall back on them. She's just another chick dude, 1 in 3 some odd billion, odds are against you that she's the most special one you'll ever meet.
