Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

This is a bit of a rant. I can't seem to be happy. I'm going through a bit of a transitional stage right now - I graduate less than a month from now, I'm looking for a career job, and I may well be moving out of state for that, leaving behind everything and everyone I know. This year I've dated a few girls and despite my initial desire NOT to get involved with any one girl, I did anyway. And now I can't really help myself - she really lights my fire. I know that may sound a bit AFC, but after being a serial boyfriend for years on end and casually dating the past year, I've found someone whose personality goes very well with my own.

Anyway, I just can't be happy and I have no idea why.

-I do have some interests.
-I'm a bodybuilder so I lift almost daily.
-I read up on various things and try a few new things every now and then as part of the whole gain experience/become a better person deal.
-I'm trying to pick up guitar again, though the interest level isn't exactly high.
-Once I get more money I would like to get into cars.
-And I'm still struggling with my temptation of video games. I know some people say "it's ok in moderation" but it doesn't work that way for me. It never did. I would either play all day or none at all. Then as much as I'd want to play I'd feel guilty afterwards for not having done a single worthwhile thing with those hours of my life. So right now it's none at all.
-I have a girlfriend whose kept me more satisfied than any of my previous ones and several single girls who want me, but I won't go behind her back. I know she's serious based on some "slick" questions she's been asking me and several actions on her behalf.

Basically I know what I CAN do to make my life very predictable and certainly not the worst off, but I don't know if it'll bring me the fulfillment I just can't seem to find.

I just wanna get all this sh!t figured out and be happy already. Anyone feel me?

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

I don't know how I can help you. You seem to have it goin pretty good (and on a whole other level than I do).

Right now I'm going through a "find your inner happiness" phase [as well]. I've gotten back into the gym, I'm working a lot, trying to do good and keep up in college (community), hang out with friends when I can (but it's hard a lot of them enjoy the pot and drinks) and sometimes just have time for myself and read (I usually just read Men's Health though).

I don't know, I can't seem to find positivity, I feel like I can approach a girl, and then I have that fear of ****ing up, or getting laughed at. I can't quiet get my mindset to "**** what they think". I don't seem to have that ambition or motivation, but I doubt it, I think it's the fear. I seem to be too negative with myself (game-wise you can say; body is looking good as I'm going to gym regularly).

I guess this is also just a little rant, I just really wanted to get this off. I feel as if I need a guide to take me from step to step, I don't know, maybe I SHOULD take up guitar, I've been wanting to... but my dedication I'm not too sure about. We'll see.

Oh and just wanted to add... another thing that really bothers me, is that when I read all this positivity crap about having the girl "come into your world" I mean... I think what's there that I can really offer, and again I seem to get all negative. Damn it.

I'm no psychiatrist, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and tell you that's probably the root of your unhappiness right now. Your life is in transition and your mind is preparing to be uprooted and moved to a new, strange environment away from all the comforts and safeties you're enjoying now.

Hopefully once you get up on your feet and established, you'll be feeling better. Good luck bro.

Travel, make friends in different countries. Read the classics at the airport. Work on your career, learn to dance. Having a girl is probably holding you down at this stage in your life. You are not satisfied.
