Hi guys,

Just a quick question, all feedback welcome no matter how brutal.

The situation is;

I dumped my gf of 2 months point blank by text yesterday.

Everything had been going well for first month and half, until her ex and father of her son asked if she fancied giving things another go. She was honest, and admitted to me that she loved him still, and that they had cuddled when he came around. She assured me that nothing sexual had happened, but admitted she would rather get back with him or else she would probably cheat on me.

I gave them my blessing, and cut off all contact.

A few days later she changed her mind and told me she realised she loved me instead and asked to meet, which we did and spent some time togetyert. She told me shed done some thinking, realised she wanted me over him etc etc....

For the last week I was content with how things were, until yesterday she told me that the night out with her friends she had planned would in fact be at her exes bros birthday, and he would be there. All drinking etc together.

I told her I couldn't be bothered any more and it was over, as I felt she had no need to see him whatsoever and it felt like she was making excuses just to see him.

Do any of you guys think I made the correct decision?

Part of mne feels guilty and like I dumped her too hasty?

Any ideas? All feedback welcome
