"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

this comment summed it up:

Another example of Slate's 'brave new world' POV, where the norm they are aggressively pushing is that good-looking guys are supposed to be thrilled to be with obnoxious, fat, ugly Rottweilers, and how dare men go with beautiful women?

If anything the opposite is the problem in real life...go to your local malls...its a bunch of rosie o donnell landwhales with dudes who at least hit the treadmill twice a week

It's called hating. People always hate other people doing what they can't.

I'm thinking it's glorification of "bread and circuses", See, you can pull hot women even if you are only a coach. Forgetting to mention he made it in business before going back to coaching

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I'm sorry, is this guy considered "ugly'? I think he's attractive and they seem like an appropriately-matched couple.

Because women are genetically wired through evolution to prefer a man with status or wealth the same way men are wired to prefer hot women. This girl goes against her evolutionary tendencies

Most women are not attractive enough to attain such a high status man so they have to settle with what they can get. This women didnt have to settle, she is very attractive, but she chose to do so. She must have something wrong with her. Oh wait, she has morals and is not shallow. She prob loves that guy for who he is. That guy doesnt give a **** about her other than her looks however so I feel sorry for her

It's the money dude trust me.

Tupac said it best, he said a year before he had fame he was in a club, with his back against the wall wishing a woman would pay him attention.

He said a year later after he dropped his first album, he went back to that same club and women was literally ripping his shirt off back.

She certainly does. Women love money and status.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

He's the head coach of a university basketball team. Why are they talking about this guy like he's some sort of loser? He's going to be making $300k a year, that isn't bad. What do they expect this woman to deserve - a king? No wonder women's entitlement issues are out of control. She isn't even that attractive, if you ask me.

Women who frequent clubs are generally retarded. Thats why I dont associate with them. I go once in awhile to dance and I have never ripped a shirt off of ones back. Men at clubs just view you as a **** object, not a human being so I avoid dating anyone I meet at a club.

The last guy who tried to get me at a club was so annoying. He kept bragging about how much money he makes and how girls are so intimidated by his status and money. Asked for my number. The next day he texted me asking me to "come over and watch a movie with him." Sleazeball. Man, he didnt like it when I said "no thanks, not intimidated by you at all except for your arrogance."

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
