Why is 7 the coolest number?

Seriously, everyone likes the number seven right? WHY? I agree that the number is a pimping DJ, but I have no idea why.

My best guess is that it's the only single number with two syllables and begins with a sexy 's' but so does six and that is just one letter away from being sex and is still as sexy as a fat chick. Yes I am stoned.

man made God therefore the number 7 must be good for a reason and therefore have been used in the bible for such a reason - even if you're christian and believe that, you must still believe that the bible was written by men based on what jesus had said, same idea

I would say that numbers such as Pi, the golden ratio, and euler's number(e) are much cooler numbers than 7.

Personally, I like complex numbers; numbers on the imaginary plane. ie. Square root of -1. i, 2i, 3i....

23 does look like an interesting movie.

It's more like I like powers of 3. Three, like seven, is a number that is thought of to have a strong meaning. The triumverates of Rome. The branches of the US goverment. The sides of a triangle. From what I understand, it is seen as a number of balance.

My number when I play sports is 27. It is 3^3. Three sets of three (edit: sets of three) hehe

The golden ratio is awesome. The problem is these are irrational numbers. They are not practical enough for most people to like.

Let me put a little note of correcting.

The number Seven in the Holy Bible is the number of completeness throughout the bible and also in Leviticus 23:15-16.

The number Seven is also connected through the Word Finished in Revelation 10.

SEVEN is found 735 times in the Bible. SEVENTH is found 119 times

I see no reason to believe in a deity, there's no reason to believe in one so as far as I'm concerned it's something you CAN'T worry about
