Where would you rather go?

I haven't really traveled internationally in a while (probably 4 years).

I'm making a serious effort to get out of this country this year. I have all these frequent flyer miles to use. Some of these miles are a real ***** to redeem tho but I found some options, so where would you go and why?

1) South Africa - would like to say I have been to every continent and Africa will be a hard one to cross off the list. Also all the nature, beautiful sites, etc. I would try to do some crazy stuff there like maybe a shark dive or safari or whatever. Would be easier I think to get time off work because my boss is from there and also he might know people around there that could show me around. The cost to get there is probably $2200 but I imagine not that expensive to stay. Would stop in London a few days

2) Ireland - no idea why I want to go here other than tickets are available, they have good pubs, guiness and I heard hot HBs. My last gf was Irish mix (but american). I also figure I could hit up London and if time permits maybe some other short flights within Europe like Amsterdam (went there in 2001). Flight will cost me a grand but it will be expensive there with Euros and GBP

If you have some other must see places you think I should really check out let me know I am trying to get ideas and checking availability. I already have plans to try and do South Korea and Australia once I get the miles squared away, with hopefully a little Bangkok stopover (was there 4 years ago).

The Irish are some the friendliest and most fun people you will ever find. Among the coolest cultures on the planet in my opinion. Spent a month every summer there growing up. My parents were both born there and, although raised mostly in England, they consider themselves Irish and I guess a tiny part of me does too. Go there for the music and dancing, the seafood and breakfasts, the stout and whiskey, and for the craic.

But don't go there for the women. I'm just saying...
