I had a couple of times these lines used on me..... one just today by my dance teacher.

''we never know if you are serious or not''

''we don't know what you thinking''

What you think these 2 lines implies.... what would be a good reply ?

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

I have had that used on me from an attorney I was using at the time.
Came at me as "It's really hard to see how you are taking this situation".
3 possible reasons:
Ironclad frame,
introverted personality,
or possible psychological reasons?

1) You have created a good mystery
2) If this is something that happens often and you don't get good end results it MEANS you are CHILDISH. You over play the humour and don't take charge when you have to. Don't hide things you mean to say directly in humour ..be precise and let them know you mean business.
I had comments like that in the past and that's the advice I got from my mentor. Be playful but don't go full retard.

I think its a little bit of all.

She's my dance teacher, my age, married..... her brother who works there doesn't stop watching me lol when I am with her..... so we jokes, we laugh, I can see she has some attractions, every thing is just natural and a good time... but the fact she's my teacher/married etc... I am not confortable jumping the fence (I already did with one of the girls from the dance school too)

It's hard for me to be physically attracted to someone, it's more mental work than anything else. So although the flirt, the frame is there, etc.... the desire is not, also I value my intimacy (often don't like to be touched, like to be alone)

I guess she finds me ''detached, good frame, humour etc... and actractive ''

I head into Fitters points

Thanks, I do get really childish sometimes cause probably I don't want to face the truth (attraction, building rapport, afraid it would work and have to share my personal space)..... In her case, she's an authority of power and afraid of mixing/screwing stuff and I am not attracted but bound well with her

Before I got really ''active with women'' (9 years ago) I had bad results lol when those lines came in (cause I overdid it).... today it's more controlled

Other cases, they've been more on a date setting and I scored the girl by not giving in the comment and I didn't feel shy to ''lose''

So your mentor has a strong point and I should be more mindful of that, in my casual encounter with the teacher

- Thanks guys, any building rapport lines to from there when receiving such comments ?

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Sounds like women trying to manipulate you. Id try to reply with something just as vague. "hey we never know if you are serious or not. I'm just not sure I can spend too much time on this, life keeps me busy."

The most confident comeback.......With a smirk on your face say ..."I guess you will have to find out"

This will get the women off your back and spark a challenge.
Lol!!!

You could also say "it's a secret"

If they still push say... if I told you, it wouldn't be a secret.

That'll get them!
