"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

When starting out, should I start with 5s and go from there?

What I've noticed while being an average looking guy is that picking up a whale, a plain Jane, or a hot girl requires the same amount of effort. I can't tell if there's something I'm doing wrong.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

There are some differences between a 5 and an 8, so knowing where to start can depend on your approach.

While all women are somewhat attracted to similar traits, they do not all value these things equally. 5's are easier to approach and open, but they are typically accustomed to being used for sex, so it is not unusual for them to place a higher priority on screening men for commitment, romance, etc., sometimes even withholding sex in the process. The more "DJ" you are, the more likely you'll get more sexual resistance/hesitation. Women like this will normally screen for men who appreciate the woman's own value. They more typically desire a man who values THEM.

An 8, on the other hand, might be more difficult to crack right up front, but once they buy in sex comes relatively quick and easy. Women like this screen for men who have higher value.

The point here is, if you start off with 5's, the initial and primary focus for them will be on you justifying their value. When you're dealing with 8's and so forth, their focus will shift to a justification of your value, which indirectly justifies their own.

In a nutshell, what might work on an 8 will not typically work equally as well with a 5 and vice versa. It's not the same game.
This is definitely something I've noticed, although i think that phenomena is more related to self-esteem (which correlates with looks anyway)

But it sounds like if you've gotta improve your value to get an 8 you can practice your skills on a 5 until you're high value enough to work on transferring those skills to an 8
