About about what time did most of you break out of being a AFC? What really motivated you to do so?
 

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

I broke out of all AFCdoms a short while ago. Before that, I was slowing moving towards that point, but then I had a snapping point.

It has been a gradual process. I still have faint tendencies to AFCness when I start thinking philosophical, but ithink that it is in an ideal world where certain aspects of AFCs are o.k, but in the real practical world, AFCs are worthless.

I never had a chance to go try and pick up girls as an AFC before I learned what not to do.... I would have just went up to them and said how beautiful they are if I hadn't though

I guess I never really had a chance to pick up any habits that I could go back to...
