I think it's to kick as much ass and have as much fun as possible. When you think about things, realize our lives, in the grand scheme of things, are meaningless. The universe has existed for billions of years, a life spanning 80-90 years is nothing but a spark.

We will all die, we're all equal when we do, so at this point it's all about the story from birth to death.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

I was in one of those states the other day where I was just inside my head thinking.

I looked around the campus and I noticed the trees. I thought, what's the tree's meaning of life. What's the trees meaning of life? ...To Live.

The meaning of life is to live.

That means whatever you want it to mean.

If someone asks me that question, I say it's:

- To have as much fun as possible. (why people sky-dive, play sports, read books, or watch television shows/motion pictures).

- To be as happy as possible (why people follow "dreams" and achieve goals).

- (In my opinion) To be the best man I can be. (why honesty, integrity, and "doing the right thing" is important).

By the way, I didn't read all of the replies, so I apologize if I repeated something someone else already posted. This is my personal opinion.

The meaning of life is not the answer to the question "Why?" - Why survive? Why desire? Why fight? Why succeed? - but rather the answer to the second question: "So?" - that apathetic, even contemptuous dismissal used by those who have died inside.

It's all about making the horse you've led to water drink.

" The Purpose of life is for it to end.... "

Sorry guys, I HAD to do that! Anyways, I see life as a journey that we all undertake, we make our own way through it and are free to make our own decisions as we go along.

Consider life as one big RPG ( yes, i'm using a video game reference ) if get up, work to make money, collect various things, have your fights, have your victouies, have your loses but we all still have the same ending; Death, whetever it be peaceful or violent.

On another note, I DO believe in life after death, I always have. I reckon there is actually FAR too much evidence ( ie ghosts, NDEs, etc ) to suggest otherwise but thats my own views.

My life philsophy can be summed up by my sig.

Well of course it varies from people to people, but the bottom line is we'll never know which is right or wrong until you die and once you do it won't matter since it'll be the past.

I believe that the point of life is "living a life worth living without any regrets." to me this means accomplishing my goals, being happy or accomplish something great so when I die I can be proud of myself and others will remember me.
