What was the point of marriage?

I imagine some people, who are seriously marriage minded, don't sleep around, and are completely free of physical attachment, VD, or other cooties like that! Lol!!!

I believe at some point getting married and raise a family is the best thing a man can do given that it happens at the right terms, to get married at current terms from a legal and social point of view is even less safe than gambling all you have in the stock market.

A union with a quality girl who enrich your wife that you love and love you back is a blessing as much as it is to have someone you care and someone you can count on...awfully nowadays its not the case.

The reason many men dont marry its not because they are against marriage but because a legal systema unbalanced in favour of women exist in a society where the average woman is a risk to deal with, you cant have both, you either have good girls protected from the law or bad girls that you can drop once they start creating problems.

You cant have the legal system treating women as victims no matter what while society and culture give them almonst unlimited power over you, wheter it comes of growing their expecations and demands out of limits and telling them all the time that they are entitled to stuff for the simple fact of existing.

A sane legal system and a sane mainstream culture would make marriage again a blessing and an amazing phase for couples.

The same moment you have a kid she owns your ass, your house and part of your salary...you cant "hack the system".

Even if she proved you lived togheter for years she can still get something in many countries given that she proves it with pictures or witnesses.
