I came up with this to introduce other people to DJing/PUAing and it's effective at introducting the concept without getting the thread locked or deleted because of its normal controversy.
In my early teen years, I really sucked at girls. All girls say, and told me, that they want a nice guy who will care for them and be there for them when they need them. I was that guy. But, for some strange reason, I was never getting any girls.
Then a realization struck me:
Most girls don't know what they want. It may seem like they do, but think about it. Do many girls have experience dating other girls? No! They only have experience dating guys or fantasizing. On the same token, you could probably find out more about what guys want by asking girls than guys themselves.
Well, I then decided to seek help. This is my advice to you guys:
I joined the PUA (pick-up artist) community.
Some important terminology:
AFC = average frustrated chump
HB = Hot Broad, usually followed by a number of 1-10, 10 being the highest, rating attractiveness
PUA = pick up artist
LTR = long term relationship
LJBF = let's just be friends
Cold Approach = approaching a girl you don't know
kino = touching (handshakes, hugs, high-5s, etc. any physical contact)
close = usually asking for number, maybe e-mail, at the end of an approach
alpha = alpha male
sarging = going out and approaching girls
dj = don juan (the model made-up guy of the so-suave community)
If you want to get in on the community, visit these forums for quick advice:

and for the general lifestyle and learning, these forums:
http://www.sosuave.com
I also suggest you read the DJ Bible and do the DJ boot camp at the above site.
These sites and my friend who had improved himself with them really opened my eyes. I definately get more chicks now than I used to and have better social skills. That's what those sites really teach: make you more confident and give you more social skills. So, I'm also better at dealing with other people and it really has imroved my self-esteem to the point where I'm happy about myself and stand up for myself.
The first site may sell stuff, I'm not sure. But you don't have to buy anything just to browse the site and use the forums, which are the important things. The second site sells nothing.
This is just my advice to you guys. See you on the sarge-field =)
