What to do when she links arms with you?

Alright so there's this girl that's basically my girlfriend without the title and lots of times we'll be walking together and I'll have my hand by my side or in my pocket. Then she'll do that thing where she sticks her arm in between my arm and my side and links our arms at the elbow. But the thing is I don't know if I'm supposed to link it too or what. I always just leave my hand in my pocket so I'm walking with my arm at my side and she's there with her arm wrapped around mine. It just feels like I should be doing something too maybe? This happens a lot and I don't know what to do, so please share your thoughts.

What I would do is I'd try some ****y&Funny and 2-steps forward, one step back methods:

when she wraps her arm(s) around your arm, especially since you say she does that a lot:

*wraps her arm(s) around yours*
you: hey, i'm going to have to charge you from now on! being your armrest is one heck of a job. i'm expecting $10 per minute!

(lol something like that. be creative!)

as for 2Steps forward, 1Step back:

I'd try locking arms with her, then soon I'd transition to holding hands. then next time I wouldn't do either. Later, I'd hold her hands, and move into putting my arms around her waist, and so on.

I've used this a few times lately w/my own variation. as expected, it worked great.

I appreciate all the CF responses guys and I'll be sure to use them sometimes. But other times I just want to let her leave her arm there but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with my arm. Do I just leave my hand in my pocket and let her be only one linking or what?
