So long story short, while we were dating, I started acting beta and she lost interest. She also showed signs of BPD. Thankfully for me, I found this website near the end of our relationship and have been able to improve a lot.
We're both juniors in high school. When I first broke up with her (almost 2 weeks ago), we were both smiling. I wasn't really affected, and she made it seem like she wasn't either. For the first few days after we broke up, she avoided contact and I wasn't going to initiate contact (trying to do no-contact, but its hard because we have a lot of mutual friends). Then, if we ended up next to each other because of a mutual friend, she would kind of flirt with me and smile, but I wouldn't be that responsive. This happened a couple times, and I'd also see her looking at me when I was wearing tight under armor shirts or cutoffs before football practice (im very lean and muscular, and when we were dating she told me that girls would have conversations about my muscles/body). Yesterday, I walked to my locker before practice, and she was standing there with one of our friends and another girl. When I turned the corner, she said "oh my god I can't do this anymore" to them. She didn't say it sadly, but more loud and energetic while smiling. I let our friend borrow one of my football shirts for gym class (he forget to bring an extra), and he turned to me to give it back. He started telling me about how he felt bigger and more athletic wearing it (he's really unathletic and he knows this). Then my ex said "he felt like you wearing it" while looking at me and smiling. I didn't respond to this, and don't even think I looked at her. She kept with our conversation and laughed at a lot of things I said, and tried to say something but I would really respond to her. Is she gaining interest again? Towards the end our relationship, she acted like she didn't care at all, and I kept chasing her until I toke a step back, realized what was happening, and learned a lot from here. But, she'd be useful as a friends with benefits or another plate, but I wouldn't mind it if I never talked to her again. What should I do in this situation?
