The most passionate themes in romance novels is where the woman has two potential resourceful men that she can go into a relationship with.

One man is easy-to-get and the other more challenging.

The woman has to make a choice, typically goes through a dramatic struggle to get the challenging resourceful man.

As soon as she secures the affection of the challenging resourceful man, she kicks the easy-to-get resourceful man to the curb.

Just about every popular woman’s novel or movie has this theme. This is biology.
