Wearing Suits

The dudes over on Roosh Forum swear by wearing tailor made suits to go out on the pull. Do many of you guys do this? I remember back when I was studying (over ten years ago) me and my buddy would put suits (definitely NOT tailor made) on to hit the bars. And it worked. But since then, even though I've got a tonne more cash, I haven't rocked the suit look.

Am thinking of giving it another go though. The Roosh guys seem to think a pocket square is the way to go, but that seems like overkill to me.

Business suits, no. They are okay for evenings if you can't change after you leave the office. And I wear 'bespoke' suits.

For younger, fit guys, an Italian suit kill in the clubs - I've seen my business cubs work it. What works almost as well is an Italian sports jacket, dark slacks and open collar shirt and nice shoes.

It definitely sets you a part from the crowd, especially when you have your ensemble put together properly. Of course, you have to know what to wear with what and what take in account the time of day and the occasion. You wouldn't wear a seersucker or a pinstripe business suit to the club.

That pocket is there for a reason and that reason being something is suppose to be put into the suit pocket. Certain things in life are signals to other people, you're a "Member of the Club." I smoke cigars and drink aged scotch. To the observant fellow, he would take notice and and think to himself, "Well damn. Dude is smoking on a La Flor Dominincana and is chasing it with some Glennfiddich 18 year old. He's obviously a guy of refined tastes, I should go holler at ole boy. The same holds true of Patek Philippe, while everybody knows Rolex, Movado, and Cartier, not too many cats are up on Patek Philippe. The same holds true for pocket squares. The pocket square is sending a subtle signal that you care and you're paying attention to detail, and for the purposes of this discussion, the pocket square is a subtle form of peacocking.

As you can see, the pocket square brings an added flare and makes the outfit pop more, (the same goes with the ascot and the boutonniere,) especially, the blue pocket square with the whit polka dots.

Pocket squares allow for you to express your personal style, draw attention to yourself without going as far as wearing goggles, furry top hats, and feather boas. When you go out and get your suits, I suggest that you get some pocket squares. Start with solid colors, then branch out.

It's the attention to detail. Since women spend so much time and money on maintaining their appearance they take notice in a man that does the same. It sends the message, that you as a man will be able to compliment her appearance wise and people in the street won't question as to what she sees in you or why your with her.

You might have to go the made-to-measure or bespoke route. The tailor will be able to build you coat that accentuates your shoulders and chest, while taking attention away from your midsection.
